Hello friends. The dinner dished are still on the counter but no one is using the computer right now so I thought I better make use of the free time. The dishes will still be there when I get back. Some kid may need this for homework.

I like the addition to the title of the thread. Now that this is here in the evening, I will waste even more time and increase my post count.

Need to get my chores done sometime so I can watch ER tonight.

Did we ever find a bartender???? I have a little wine left but I could use a refill of something too...although I certainly can't drink like I used to!

Back in the dark ages, when we were young pups and first dating, we'd go out on a Friday night to a place that offered 2-for-1 at happy hour.....and that hour seemed to be much longer than 60 minutes. We used to drink Pear Harbors, which I haven't had in years. Eventually we'd end up back at my house.....pretty tipsy....watching Dallas with my mom.

Now on a Friday night it's a contest to see who is still awake at 9:00....and at most we've had one beer.

Poor Meghan......is she feeling better???? My BooBoo was in tears when Matt was feeling punk.....partly because she thought she'd miss going out to dinner with grandma......and partly because she didn't want to get sick from "that brother!"

What's a Pear Harbor???


DH and I (pre-kids) used to go to this restaurant called "Tio Juan's" and it was in the old city jailhouse, so the tables are in cells....very cool....
we'd have nachos and chicken wings, and a pitcher of margs every Thursday night.....

I'm thinking we need to that again.....we haven't done that in forever...and it used to be so much fun....course then we lived in "the city" and could walk home...


I thought Willy was tending bar??? No?

A Pearl Harbor is Midori, vodka and pineapple juice.....they're a lovely light green color.....perhaps they could be served at the Friday pool party at Riddle Con? Of course everyone would need to have one for me!
