Oh man!! I missed the meet with gifts! Story of my life....a day late & a dollar short

You all would be laughing if you could see me right now. The floor installers are here, there is dust flying everywhere, you can't move in my living room because we had to move the dining room furniture into here, and I am sitting here amongst all of the clutter and confusion just DISing away! We will definitely be eating out for the next few days since the stove is also in the living room right now. Looks like Long John Silver's for dinner tonight!

I am going to take DS out to Pizza Hut tonight just because. DD has a date and DH is in NYC, so the 2 of us are going out after his soccer practice.

I have the funniest story.....okay..well, I think it's funny...

a package arrived in the mail today...it was a VALENTINE'S day gift from my DMIL (not DEAR)..so I open the envelope...it's addressed to: Neil, Stephanie, Patrick, Andrew, and HUNNY.....hmmmm, okay, I give her the benefit of the doubt, and figure she just forgot to put Meg's name on the gift.....

Inside the package are some triangular plates that look like slices of pizza. When you put all of the pieces together, you should have a whole pizza...I know this because there are words written across the plates....it says FRESH PIZZA....but only a couple of letters on each plate.
Well......we're 2 pieces short of a whole pizza (man...hopefully the TF don't check in here much) WE ONLY GOT 6 plates...ours reads FRESH PIZ.........WTH?????

Oh the story gets better.......


taped to the top plate is a check from my DMIL, with a note that says: "Have a pizza party on us"..........guess how much the check was for??? $8.00........How about "HAVE A FROZEN BAGEL PIZZA PARTY ON US"

oh my.....I've gotten totally sidetracked from liver and onions...lol....
