While my brother and his wife and toddlers will be at the Swan the whole time I will certainly have some solo time. My first time alone in the World.

Any suggestions?

I am trying to decide on PS arrangements. Sunday noght will be with them at the Mexican sit down, but what about Monday?

I do want some solo time, maybe do a few commando things in the morning, maybe hang out near Mission Space and see if I can get randomly picked for a ride.

I was thinking about doing a few things the wife NEVER let me do, like hanging my feet in the water at Its a Small Word, pinching the bottoms of the exchange girls in the France pavillion, there are used to it, being from France, just sitting and watching the fountain in Epcot.....dinner at that place on top of the contemporary.

I don't know, Rich. You may be pretty much wiped out by the time you walk those LOOOOONG hallways to your room. You might need to just rest. ;) ;)

What about soaking your sore, tired feet in all the fountains in World Showcase?

My walk won't be that long. I will be getting a BW view fairly close to the elevators.

I am up early, always early. I am looking forward to 6 or 7am coffee on the BW....BW...yeah, I just thought of one thing. I really like the different BW performers, maybe I will spend Monday night enjoying their acts.

Thats a good one, the wife never lets me do that.

Crissup, I sent you a PM

How about tasting all the beers brewed at Big River then staggering back up to your room then hang over the railing of the balcony and sing to everyone on the boardwalk!! LOL

Rich-

Aren't we supposed to refer to the French girls as "Freedom girls"?

Just let me know what night you will be doing this and I will make sure I am there to witness it!!!!:jester:

You could always don a loin cloth and swing through the trees at the Animal Kingdom pretending you are Tarzan. You could even pick selected guests and pretend she's Jane and swing her through the trees also.

And while you're over on that side of the world you might as well go eat at Bomas and stuff yourself until you have to unbuckle your belt like Al Bundy.

I thought it was the Italians that pinched, not the French. However, pinching anyone can get you thrown out. :)
Have fun.

Rich,

I had 3 days at the World by myself a couple of years ago when I was there for a conference. I did pretty much what you suggested. I made a large, slow loop of the Boardwalk/YC area, preceded by the same at WS (it was one of the 3 times, so far, I've been picked out of the crowd for the Holy Grail bit at U.K. - hench the DIS name). There are a lot of performers both places that are great to see at your leisure. I'm into wine a bit, so I had some wine during my slow loop of WS. It was very relaxing. While doing the boardwalk, I made sure to go into Jelly Rolls. Just faded into the background but it was great fun too! The next evening, I played a round of Fantasia Mini golf (both sides) then went to the MK, got a big old bowl of ice cream at that shop at the end of mainstreet, and picked an out of the way bench just to the right of the castle area and just people watched. I'd do it again in a minute.

Didn't stay at OKW that time (was at the Coronado), but I'd be tempted to get a boat from Hanks and take the slow rout to PO and to DD and back.

Have fun

Are you going to be down there that first weekend of May?

Runs, ducks and clumsily falls, sorry

People watching, strolling and eating....and staying away from France.

has anyone went into a France place and ridicule the CMs for their countries position?.....maybe I just figured out how to spend my time!!!!

I was the king once, its good to be king.

I am going on April 30th and leaving May 9th. I am staying at the BWV also.

Well..........actually, it has been in the planning/discussion stages.

Rich, that is harrasment, that can get you thrown out too.
Couldn't you just do the rides? :)

I am just wondering how hot it will be. We have been getting near 90 down here already. I haven't been to WDW this close to summer in many, many years.

I hope it rains.

How about sitting back in your room, relaxing and listening to the radio?

Now, Rich, THAT TALK MUST STOP RIGHT NOW!!!!!! It is snowing and cold here right now and I don't want to hear about wonderful warm weather. That is harrasment, pure and simple.
:)

BTW, I was there in May a couple of years ago and the weather was VERY warm, and wonderful.

Get on the hot seat at WWTBAM-PI. I normally get on the hot seat in one or at most two shows but that should kill a little time.

LOL Rich. I thought they only picked guys over 50 to do Arthur. I'm 46 now and DW says I'll know when it's time to start using Grecian formula when I'm snagged for Arthur instead of Galahad. ;)

Rich, I'm really concerned you are starting to turn into a BWV type person. I'm going to miss those remarks about how small the BWV rooms are, etc. Now I will have to get used to comments from you like those OKW rooms are way too big to enjoy cozy vacations, I'm glad I don't have to see my car outside the unit all the time, OKW doesn't have these great elevator rides, at OKW you have to leave the balcony to get your beer, etc. Oh well, I hope you come back to OKW sometime.
