Richard Petty Driving School

Hi everybody....my hubby wants to go to the Richard Petty Driving School while we are at disney. Anybody have any pointers or want to share your experiences with us? He just wants to know overall what people think of it. Any info is welcome.

It's an awesome experience, well worth making time for! I have read numerous posts on the RPDE, all of them positive, and our experience was very positive as well. Not only was it a lot of fun (and quite the rush!) but the people who assist you are very professional.

There is also a covered viewing area where family can come down to the track and watch. It was fun to watch the children trying on helmets and cheering on their moms and dads as they drove. Family was also taken for a van ride around the track, which was great fun for the kids.

Beware that you'll need some extra money to purchase the pictures they take. You simply cannot pass them up! The only drawback to the experience was having to get up so early in the morning.
