Has anyone done this? Just an idea we had... no freakin' clue what to do for groomsmen gifts!!!

You probably will not have seen many people do it since it is pretty pricey. I think around $400-$500 per person for the full experience. However, if they are interested in race car driving it looks awesome, but I would make sure beforehand somehow. You wouldn't want to spend all that money and find out that they are too afraid to do it!

I surprised my fiance with the Richard Petty Rookie Experience last September when we went to Disney World and he absolutely loved it. He still talks about it to this day!

It is pretty pricey, but I think it's worth it. I saved $60 buying it from Under Cover Tourist (http://www.undercovertourist.com/un...tions/walt-disney-world-speedway.html#tickets). Another less expensive option for the groomsmen is the ride along experience for $98. My fiance did this just before he got to drive the stock car and he said it was a lot of fun as well :)

If you have the $$ then DO IT! DH did it as a b-day gift in 2006, he is STILL talking about it. He did the 8 lap drive and the ride along add on. They offer a AAA discount- anything helps.

Also- they do not offer a gift certificate to present to the gift recipient. I made one of my own- It looked very cool (If I do say so myself.) If you decide to do it as the gift and want a way to present it just let me know. I can e-mail you the file to print.

:)
