Wakey! Wakey! Rise and shine.......

Well, I get up and I've got another stinking headache, and feeling nauseous. Whatever had triggered my streaming nose at Typhoon Lagoon had laid on my chest over night and blocked all my sinuses. :confused3 So I skipped breakfast and let Victoria and Avonia eat their's. Back onto the pink lemonades again for me I'm afraid.

Avonia and Victoria decided to take the bus to Downtown Disney, and I strolled the grounds of the hotel again with my refillable mug.

Port Orleans French Quarter is a really impressive place to stay and I would recommend it to anybody.

So many little gardens to sit in. It has plenty of wildlife too: ducks, squirrels, butterflies, lizards, and a warning to those staying in building 4: as I went for my umpteenth mug of pink lemonade there was the 4 foot long black snake staring at me. :teeth: Luckily, it was scared of me so it shot off into the undergrowth.

Avonia and Victoria had their lunch in Wolfgang Pucks (cafe). Hmmm, not very good by all accounts. Overcrowded, tiny tables, and the food just about ok. They came back mid afternoon with their booty.......Christmas decorations amongst other things. They did have a nice ride on the boat as well.

By about 4.00pm my body is back into holiday mode : party: :goofy: , so we all freshen up and jump into Miss Piggy for our trip to tonight's restaurant - The Yacht Club Galley. Marvellous, good puds, and lots of colouring to be done, including Victoria having to colour in her own dessert. :teeth:

Meal finished and well fattened we walked to the jetty and took the boat across to Boardwalk. We spent some time watching the street entertainers, jugglers etc. and then decided to walk around the lake to get back to the Yacht club. Now, for any of you who like to hear interesting noises, just before you get to the bridge, stop and face the trees (when dark), hundreds of frogs croaking. Not just normal croaks, but they sounded just like that awful frogs on that record!!! :lmao: :rotfl2: We stood and listened for about 10 minutes before taking up a position on the bridge to watch the EPCOT fireworks.

Fireworks over, we walked (nice and leisurely) back to the Yacht Club and Miss Piggy took us back to POFQ. Here we stocked up with coffees and juice and had a wander around the grounds before heading back to our room for the night.

Another enjoyable day for Avonia and Victoria, and a great evening for me.

What the heck!!!! A 4ft long what???? :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Jodie :guilty:

enjoying your reports, we are staying at POFQ in July and glad to hear that you like & would recommend it to others.
Don`t think i will tell DW about the 4ft snake , she would cancel and make me book another hotel lol

We loved POFQ too, it's a beautiful resort.

Lots of snakes this year, DH saw 2 - one at AK and one at Typhoon Lagoon... I missed both of them.

Trust in me, just in me,
Close your eyes..... :rotfl2:

Sorry to hear that you felt ill again, Richard, glad that you picked up later.

I am now very intrigued by dessert you have to colour in...?

Although we were all on the adult menu, there is an option on the child's menu, which of course was highlighted to Victoria, of a white chocolate dessert. This comes as a "jigsaw" puzzle, which when made up is a picture of Tinkerbell. You're supplied with a brush and food colourings as paints:artist: , to colour her in. However, it's then very difficult to persuade DD to eat her!! popcorn::

What a shame you were poorly again Richard, good to hear that you improved enough to enjoy your evening meal with the ladies :thumbsup2 Lovely photos :goodvibes

Wow, Richard, that sounds amazing! I want one now too (and would also have to be persuaded to eat it!!)
