Rich/Poor

Rich/Poor

  • I consider myself rich in VMK.

  • I consider myself poor in VMK and it bothers me.

  • I consider myself poor in VMK, but I do not care.

  • I do not consider myself either rich or poor.

  • I just think the whole rich/poor thing is silly and out of control.

lol, the most i have ever had is 8,000 that is really bad. I just want to get enough to buy a kiosk. Vmk needs to stop bringing out new things for just a little while (i can't believe im saying this, lol) but i just have to buy it all and there goes all my hard earned credits.

I play pirates non-stop all day. Once, I had 30,000 and I blew it on ALR pieces. I regret that alot, but I have that amount again.
30,000 credits is the most I've ever had. I got a Kiosk with it.

I chose neither rich nor poor. I consider myself a successful vmk game player and some of my items i see as badges of honor. But not wealth by any means. Not to mention you all see me begging for credits in the trade threads ROFL.

I have made some great friends in the game, thats where my riches lie ;)

oh i like it aengus that last sentence i really liked. :) That is definetly true.

Well i mean.. im not bragging. But i consider myself rich. But in the end. Its kinda dumb to be rich in a game. Telling everybody. So they'res no point i guess. ( to me )

Wow, that did not make sense ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ lol

Most people in VMK seem to consider me "rich," although I don't have any of the "ultra-rares," like inferno, green flips, ect. I really don't see any point in thinking of someone rich except to make yourself feel bad. I really don't think of anyone as rich. I do think people with the "ultra-rares" are either pretty smart or super lucky, as you'd usually have to be pretty smart to work up a good trade for them. That's the most I really think of anyone with items, the "rich" thing is just silly.

lol :lmao:

I am not rich; my rarest items are my ATIS pins and I don't even have the eye pin. But I am not poor, because I do have more items than I used to! I don't even think about rich/poor though except in regards to myself; it doesn't have any bearing on how I treat people.

Yet I am rich, because I have the BEST friends EVER, especially my BFF mic and BFF2 piano. :)

Yes I do not look at what i am wearing or whats in my rooms on VMK I look at my friends and thats how I am rich, My friends are very important to me :)

I'm with Aengus on this one.:) I have loads of rooms, almost all kinds. I have lots of stuff, witness all my store rooms, and even enough credits right now to get most of what I 'want' (despite the broken arm lol).

However, my friends list and the people on it are my best riches in the game.:thumbsup2 I love visiting with them, encouraging them, and teasing with them. A great way to pass the time.:):wizard:

I put I consider myself rich, but it is not judged by the stuff I have, I am judging it by the friends I have!!!!!

I usually dont care unless perhaps a something that looks like I will wear most of the time is on sale. For example a HSM dress and shoes. Brilliant multi tasker btw.

I am glad all the cool people with a good attitude about "what you own" come to the Dis! :teeth:

Was that a little too bias? ;)

well seeing as how I just started playing about 8 days ago and I'm still trying to figure out the ropes of VMK, I guess I'd consider myself pretty poor! Haha, but I don't really care, I am pretty proud of what I do have because I either bought it, worked to earn it, or got lucky with players who were leaving the game and giving out their items for free. Personally I think half the fun is trying to figure out how to get the fun things like magic! Its a fun game :)

Welcome to VMK! :)

I play vmk for the valuable items just as much as i do for the friendships and the fun times, but i still think that the rich and poor thing is a bit childish. it shouldnt matter to people how rich or poor someone is, as long as they are a nice person.

i also think that people who are rich and treat others with disrespect because they arent as rich as themselves is completely ridiculous and should be stopped. there are a lot of people who let infernos and green flips and other very valuable items get to their heads and make them think that they are better than everyone else. its not true, and i dont think it should be tolerated.

but ya, i dont consider myself rich at all.

I remember back when I was new: the first rare item I got was the In-Game Quest Pirate Hat. I had JUST figured out the strategies of Fireworks, and I barely squeaked by with the necessary score in the quest.

I was very proud that I, PirateEmery, was able to get my first pirate hat on my own.
