Richard William Hyams III

Hyams, Richard William III, of Weston FL, born July 17, 1962 in Rantoul, Illinois. After spending his childhood in Bronx, NY and Washingtonville, NY, he moved to Weston FL in 1997. A talented entrepreneur who in the past had several successful businesses in construction and computer networking, Rich most recently was involved in real estate investing. He attended State University College at New Paltz in NY, where he majored in Electrical Engineering. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Giardino-Hyams of Weston, daughter Jacqueline Hyams, a student at Chaminade Madonna College prep in Hollywood, FL, his parents Mr. & Mrs. Richard Hyams of Saddlebrook, NJ, sisters Lisa McKay of Saddlebrook NJ, Lori Pacella of Newburgh NY, Nicole Ronchetti of Hillsborough, NJ, one brother: James Angelo of Hillsborough NJ, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Suzanne Harris Webber. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jacqueline Hyams education fund in care of the family. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 Pm until the service time at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston 371 NW 136 Avenue. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home. Thank you so very much for the link -- and how very sad for his family. My thoughts are surely with them.

PLease don't find this disrespectful or in any way making less of the tragedy -- but I have to say, this post really made me jump when I first reviewed it -- I saw the op's sig picture and thought it was part of the post. I confess -- briefly I really did think, Man -- Richyams looked just like BUSH!?!

I somehow bet Rich would have commented on that, too... We will surely miss his wry sense of humor.

Sometimes a sense of humor can really help us all get through the tough times. Your post brought a smile to my face which was welcome on such a sad thread.
