Rice Krispy Treats

Hi there - I am not sure if I am posting in the right area, but wasn't sure where else to look. At our last trip this past December, my kids fell in love with the Mickey rice krispy treats, but we are having a hard time locating any on line. There were some in the gift shop in a box, and on the last day, I was able to use up my snack credits on a few to bring back, but of course they did not last long! Any idea as to where to look without actually going back to Disney right away

You could go to Selmas Cookies online. I think it's www.selmascookies.com. Someone told me that this is where Disney gets their rice crispy treats. They look like it anyway. I hope this helps. Can't wait to have a Mickey rice crispy treat in August. They're great!!

How about trying to make some yourself? Rice Krispy treats (as you'd mentioned) don't last long, but you could mold ones you make into Mickey.

QVC also carries different packages. I also love the mickey heads with the ears dipped in chocolate. Yummy!!!

I've seen them being made at Main Street Confectionary in MK. They use some sort of vegetable oil instead of butter. You can't beat ones made at home. All you need is marshmallows, rice krispies and a little butter. The recipe is usually on the marshmallow package. They are even good when made in the microwave.

Disnut 1149 is correct, the WDW packaged Rice Krispy Treats are Selma's. You can get them directly from Selma's or from QVC.......
