Is there a recipe for the rice Krispy treats they serve in Disneyworld? They always tell me it is just the box recipe, but they look and taste nothing like the ones in chef Mickey or confectionary.

Thank you

When I make them from the box they do not taste the same. Maybe next time I will have to make them into Mickey Shaped and see if they taste more like the park!

You can probably google it, but I recall somebody saying its white chocolate that is added that is the key. Way to much sugar for my taste though.

I add extra marshmallows and butter to my recipe. This makes them come out closer to what's at DisneyWorld, but not exactly like them.

I agree! They don't taste alike at all. Different consistency too.

Personally I can’t stand the pre packed Krispie Treats at DW or anywhere else for that matter. They have an artificial taste to them.

The Bakery on Main Street many ago had them made in balls in a plastic bag of 8 I think. They were made right there in the window (we watched) and tasted homemade. Bought them every single trip for breakfast every morning.

Ooops….did I just say that!

PS. In the Midwest, we have quick serve Noodles & Company. They make Krispie Treats on site that are excellent. Like homemade.

I LOVE the Rice Krispie treats at WDW. By far my favorite snack on property.

The “Homestyle” packaged Rice Krispie treats they have in stores now come quite a bit closer in taste to homemade treats. So much better than the original.

I’m pretty sure in the Disney cookbooks there is a recipe for Rice Krispie treats.. my son has 2 of the Books will have to look now

I was hoping this post was about the Rice Krispie treats at some of the Orlando airport convenience stores. :-) I always buy a square to take home and save for later. I haven't done a taste comparison to the ones at Disney World.
