I am always looking for really good BBQ ribs. We ate at the WCC in August and I got the skillet. The ribs were not what I imagned- the insides were actually red but the meat was dry. SO where in the WOrld would I find nice juicy ribs?

My three adult sons fancy themselves quite the authority on ribs. They had some great ones at several places, but surprisingly the VERY BEST vote went to Typhoon Lagoon this last trip, with only a CS credit! Don't know if they are on the menu regularly, but these were the best! Have had good luck at Flame tree in AK also. (both way above HDDR)

Another vote for Flame Tree BBQ in AK! Not high end cuisine by any stretch, but suprisingly good ribs. Very tender, and a good bargain.

They're not exactly BBQ ribs and definately not cheap, but the braised beef short ribs at Jiko are incredible! The best I've ever had - anywhere.

we went last year at news years eve and went to the hoop-de-do musical revue and the ribs were very very good my husband loved them and he doesnt really ever eat them well good luck finding the best ribs

I believe the House Of Blues at Downtown Disney is known for it's ribs. We finally tried the restaurant several years ago and have never found a better place for ribs than the HOB!
Next time you get back down there let us know what you find!!

The rib entree at Jiko was definitely wonderful! There were tender and had a really great sauce. We also liked the ribs at the Luau at the Poly. I was surprised how good they were after seeing so many negative comments about the Luau.

Hope this helps.

We had ribs at the Flame Tree BBQ and found them just so-so... pretty dry. We also had them at the Spirit of Aloha dinner and they were much better there :thumbsup2

Flame Tree ribs were very good....had the ones at WCC and they were good but FT were better:goodvibes

My dh had the ribs at Sci-fi diner. They are St' Louis styled sauce, which I understand means they had a coca-cola base. He didn't care for the sauce but he said the ribs were fall off the bone tender and not salty. He hates when the ribs are salty and not flavorful.

The ribs Boma serves on Wednesday and Saturday nights are delicious!!! The ribs at Cape May Cafe every night are great too.

We like the ribs at House of Blues and suprisingly, also think the ones at Flame Tree are pretty good.

We were lucky at Flame Tree. We enjoyed them and found them to be juicy and delicious! Yum!

:)

The ribs at Flame Tree are great.

My favorite are the ribs at the Aloha Dinner Show...those give my poor Weight Watcher soul a run for the money!

The ribs at Flame tree were good but my favorite were the ribs we had at Chef Mickeys when they were doing lunch for free dining.....I thought the ribs were very tender at WCC but like anything else it depends on the day you go, sometimes they are good sometimes not.

Just in case you have a car:

Tony roma's has 2 locations in Orlando / lake buena vista areas. They are pretty good, reasonable priced for a chain. We like them cause they are not located anywhere around here.

OK, it depends on what you consider "really good BBQ ribs". BBQ infers cooking low and slow over low heat with hardwood coal and or smoke wood. Some people like their ribs falling off the bone (overcooked). Smoked ribs will have a thin layer of red meat on the outside (smoke ring not raw pork), this is a good thing.

Flame Tree has excellent bbq ribs, dry rub and smoked served naked, no sauce. They have sauce on the side.

Big River Grille ribs are also excellent, dry rub and smoked also but served with sauce. Pretty good selection of their own beers also.

Somebody in an earlier thread mentioned the ribs at Boma, served a couple nights a week, were also smoked, though I haven't tried them yet.

I had the ribs at the Luau and Chef Mickey's once, I won't be having them again.

St. Louis style ribs refers to spare ribs with the breast bone and the skirt removed. This helps to cook the meat evenly, they also look better.
