Ribs at River Belle Terrace

I always like to find a new thing or two to try on our trips to DL otherwise we just go to the same places. Also I don't want to miss out on anything delicious! Anyone have the ribs recently at River Belle? My family loves ribs so if they aren't dried out and covered heavily in sauce for the flavor then I think we'll try it.

The ribs are not dried out. In fact they are quite tender. There is sauce, but I didn't think it was too heavy. You might be able to ask for light on the sauce or for the sauce on the side. Our server was really accommodating with our requests, so it can't hurt to ask.

Great, thanks! Don't mind sauce on them it's just that when they are drowning in it we don't like them. Want the flavor to come from the meat and be enhanced by sauce.

From the pic, it does not look like it's smothered in BBQ sauce. Definitely has sauce on it, but it's not drowning in it!

You know what? I've never eaten at River Belle Terrace. I've never really considered it. But the picture of those ribs looks really good! Maybe we'll have to try this restaurant out on our next visit!

The last time we ate there was 8 years ago! In my appx 20 trips to DL I've never been to Carnation Cafe so I made a lunch reservation for our upcoming trip. It's easy to get in the habit of going to the same places each visit.

I really like the ribs at the RBT. They're not heavily sauced (you can ask for more BBQ sauce if you want - we like to dip the tater tots in it) and they're pretty moist and tender. Some are more "fall off the bone" than others, but I haven't had one that was dry or hard. Each (adult) entree comes with six ribs and two sides (the menu says it comes with baked beans and one other side, but you can ask to substitute the baked beans for a different side if you don't like the baked beans). The baked beans are not the same as the ones from the BTRBBQ (sadly), but the cole slaw is pretty similar.
