Rhodes, Greece

Has anyone ever visited Rhodes, Greece? DH and I are considering a trip in October and I was wondering what the weather was like that time of year. DH has been there a couple of times, but it was always in the summer time when it was very sunny and warm.

I was there for a day on a cruise for my honeymoon 20 years ago. It was June so I really can't help you with your question.

I can tell you that it was a very, very beautiful island and the people were quite wonderful.

It should be ideal. It can be a bit too hot in high summer but is just cooling off nicely in October. The eastern Med can sometimes be rather breezy in the Fall, but Rhodes doesn't usually suffer too much being so close to Turkey. It really is a wonderful island, and Rhodes town is full of history. Will it still be warm enough to enjoy the beaches and the pools?

Yes. Most days it should be around 80; it might dip into the 70s later in the month. Like I said, an ideal time to go! (And I wish I was, too!!)
