Sorry.....I never did respond to the new date. Since we couldn't make the May date I thought we were still considered a "no". June 7th is actually my oldest DS's 12th birthday and since it falls on the weekend that's when we'll have his family party. I'm sorry....I should have said something when the plans were revised.

Been a while since I mentioned an idea of having a special commemorative shirt for our occasion to Jason.

I own an embroidery business and would be willing to do a shirt for commemorating our little get together. I thought since it was a Sunday I could do a polo shirt with RI DIS Meet #1, and your nic under it. I could of course do a screened tshirt if you would all prefer. Color? I can do a "DIS lime green" shirt if you like, or I am willing to take suggestions. I realize we only have a month, but all I need is 2 weeks to turn these around. Let me know what you all think. Of course with the T I could be a little more elaborate with the design, but I would also need a minimum of 15, where the embroidery there is no minimum since I sew them individually.

Here's what I would like for input:
Shirt Type: Tshirt or Polo
Color: Lime or ???
Any artwork design ideas.
Estimate on how many of you would want one.

I must apologize to you all. Right after I contacted Jason with the shirt idea, I had a family emergency that really took all my time, and time just got away from me, until I realized last weekend that this was the weekend. The situation is handled, and everything has returned to normal at this point (what ever normal is!) I and my DW will be there tomorrow albeit without shirts...oh, I mean we will have shirts on, but not the commemorative ones I intended.

Again, I am so sorry that this happened! We do look forward to meeting you all tomorrow!

I can't believe there was a meet today! I haven't been on this board in forever, and just checked in today because I met a DVCer at IHOP yesterday in NJ, and I was thinking of posting a "Hey...are you on the DIS?" thread. (We got seated...the nerve!...and ended our conversation.) Not that I could have made it to the meet...got home from NJ at 3:30. Hope you all had fun!
