RffT - Did I mess up?

If I recall correctly, there is a sampling of food from the Food and Wine festival after the RffT for the participants. My understanding is that you could purchase tickets for this sampling for family and friends not participating. Is this the same thing as the picnic afterwards that is sold out?

I didn't think that we, the particpants, had to purchase tickets for anything afterwards but DH, Steve, is telling that the picnic afterwards is something different and that we should have purchased tickets. Now I'm confused. Did I mess up by not getting tickets to this "picnic". Personally, I think my DH is making me go goofy earlier than expected.

Susie, Per the instructions on the website: The entry fee for the 3K & 10K include a Post-Race Picnic Ticket.

I know, it got confusing when they were first calling it a "Food sampling" then, "Post-Race Picnic" started appearing.

Last year the race participants got a gold wrist band with pull off tabs to use for the samplings "picnic" after the race. If your friends or family wanted some of the samplings, you needed to prepurchase them a ticket. IMO, the $20 ticket last year (not sure the cost this year) was not worth the 3 samplings and a coke. We went into Epcot after the race and spent the $40 it would have cost me for the 2 tickets with lots of food that we wanted to try and it was all good!

I thought so. I was just so tired after working 14 hours yesterday. I didn't bother going to the Web site to read for myself. Ha!
