RFC at DTD question...

Hello to all,

Tomorrow is my 90 day mark (woohoo) and I have some serious ADR's to make. Anyhow, the last time we went to WDW, I was able to make ADR's at RFC near the Animal Kingdom, however the latest dinner ressie was at 4:10 in the afternoon - this was the "latest" time, I was told during the time when we were there last (March 04). Does anyone know if ADR's can be made at the RFC at DTD? We will be arriving on Dec 14th, and our flight does not arrive at MCO until 5:46 pm, so by the time we get to the resort and check in, most of the parks will probably be winding down for the night. I was hoping to be able to have a decent meal around 7:30ish. I know RFC is far from gourmet cuisine, however my kids love the atmosphere. If RFC at DTD does not allows ressie's, do you think I would have zero chance of getting a table for 4 around 7:30 on a Wednesday evening. TIA - just trying to do a little creative planning.

You can make an ADR, but it's just that you can't call more than a week in advance, I think. You have to call them directly at (407) 827-8500. The only way to eat at the DTD RFC without an ADR is if you have joined the Safari Club. They offer front of the line seating with the card for a party up to 6 people. We love that little card. To join the Safari Club, go to the website www.rainforestcafe.com and click on Ozzie, the link to the safari club. You can also get discounts on food and merchadise at RFC as well as some of the other restaurants owned by Landry's. We use the card here at home at Joe's Crab Shack. I hope this helps. Maggie

Thank you so much for the response, and yes, it sure helps. I didn't think one could make ADR's for the RFC at DTD, but perhaps there was a new rule since the last time we went down. I will look into the club card as it may be worth it, however there are no RFC anywhere close to where I live. I wonder if Landry's also owns The Cheesecake Factory? Now that would be worth it to me! Thanks again.
