Just wanted to let you guys know I´ve signed our home up for a possible home exchange. So if you or anyone you know is interested in staying in Iceland for more than a couple of days and would like to swap homes, please consider our home. This is our listing on Home Exchange http://www.homeexchange.com/show.php?id=101970

I don't have a home to swap, unless you want to cram into a 2 bedroom apartment in Pennsylvania :rotfl: , but I just wanted to say you're home is beautiful and now I want to visit Iceland.

Your home is beautiful! And Iceland seems to be the hot new place to travel. I bet you'll find a taker. :)

I just forwarded that to dh. Iceland is on his bucket list.

Thank you. We don´t mind cramming though ;)

I've never heard of this but it sounds really interesting! I'm going to check out the website now.

I can't think of any reason why anyone would want want to come to southern Alabama LOL but it's nice and sunny in the summer and the pool is nice ;)

We´re open to anything.

What? No Disney room? Pffft...

Having said that, I've heard of this program but never really investigated it. Might look into now.

Awww, I´m sorry :rotfl2:

Disney touches here and there though. :goodvibes

Hey someone could exchange and go to disney :) Hummm NO one would want to come to WI though.

Freyja I'm sorry I can't help, but your home looks beautiful:)

Where are you planning on visiting in Minnesota? Minneapolis/St. Paul? :)

As I said, we´re open to all ideas. We´d fly into Minneapolis (if that´s the are we´d end in) and probably spend a couple of days driving to Manitoba but then we´d like to have a base for a couple of weeks and just do day trips from that place, whereever it is.

Absolutely beautiful home! Too bad our home is only three bedrooms (but 2 1/2 baths, LOL). We are in Central FL too and that's not on your wish list.

It's nice to dream though. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

I enjoyed seeing what a Icelandic home looks like. Very different than I expected.

How does a twin bed become a queen bed?

Why is there only one bathroom in a 5 bedroom house and 7 family members?

Florida will definately be on our list soon again. But since we´ve been there 3 times in the past few years it´s time for something new. + Icelandair will not be flying directly into Orlando this summer.

You can pull a second bed out from underneath the bed (it´s the same size as the twin and has the same type of mattress).

In Europe most homes only have 1 full bathroom. You´ll find homes much bigger than ours that still just have 1 full bathroom. I´m not even sure I know about a handful of homes with 2 full baths. Works o.k. for us though.

When we´ve rented homes in the US we´ve not even stepped into some of the bathrooms in the homes we´ve rented.

I´m curious to know what you expected?
