Rewards Visa, etc

So, a few years back i signed up through my bank to earn points on my purchases through the VISA extras program with my visa debit. i tend to use this card to cover the majority of charges and have had the account for the lasty 3 years or so.

After 36 months your older points expire. I haven't cashed any in yet but plan to. I ws going to get something but looking at the cost in points it doesn't seem worth it.

Am thinking of getting a gift card. so it's like a free $50. If i had the time i would do a point vs value compariosn on the items to see what i am getting a deal or not on.

Anyone else use this type of program and can post your deals?

it's very simialr to mycokerewards but instead of entering codes from the bottles you buy things with your debit card!

I don't use this program but I'd say get the gift card. $50 is $50; it's better than forfeiting the points!

I like my Disney VISA. It's like putting money in the bank, but it's dedicated to Disney. DH isn't a huge Disney fan and doesn't get why DD and I like to go so much, but he can't say no to a trip when I say, "Sweetie, I have $800 in rewards money to spend at Disney!"
