rewards card - does anyone know if...

Okay. Here is my situation. I recieved an offer for a Disney visa with a $200 gift card after first purchase. I applied and was approved today. A card will be mailed to me within two weeks. We are leaving for WDW in about 19 days. If I recieve the card and make my first purchase before we leave, can I some how obtain a rewards card AT WDW? If so, does anyone know where? TIA for any help!!

Reward points don't post until after the cycle end date - even if you pay it off early. So unless someone knows a way around that, you won't be able to redeem your points in that short timeframe, since technically they won't be posted yet.

However - since you're getting a $200 Gift Card as the promo - if they're not $200 in Disney VISA Reward points then you might be able to get that right away. You can get a Disney VISA Rewards card in DTD, maybe they can have the $200 gift card waiting there for you if you call them & explain the situation.

The $200 offers had 2 diffferent options- one was a gift card and one was rewards points. The rewards points took 2 billing cycles to show up after your first purchase so unfortunately that won't work. I got my card in February and JUST was able to get my rewards card because the points finally showed up in my account. If you are getting the gift card offer, unless your billing cycle closes REALLY quickly and they mail the gift card out within a week, you won't be able to get it. Sorry

I see what you're saying. I forgot about having to wait until the cycle end date I guess we'll have to save them for the next trip! Thank you both for your help.
