Rewards card didn't arrive in time :-(

It was one of those things on my "to do list" -- but I kept forgetting and so it didn't arrive in time. :-(

I think you used to be able to get a card with your rewards on it at guest services at Disney Springs. Anybody know if that's still the case?

FORTUNATELY, due to the wise counsel of someone on these boards years ago, I only loaded $10 on it. WHEW!

You can get them from GS at DS or any park. I always wait to get it when I get down there for this reason.

You know you can load as much as you want on it. If you do not spend the money you can call and request the funds be transfered to a gift card that will be mailed to you.

Yes, I was just worried that it may not arrive in time. I remember someone years ago advising to just load $10 on it when having it mailed to you, in case it should get lost in the mail, etc. So glad I remembered at least that much -- even if I didn't remember to order it quite in time for this trip. LOL!

I just picked one up at Guest Relations last week. Very easy. They handed me an inactive card. I called the 800 number on the front and had my rewards added. Done in less than five minutes!

And the other advantage of getting a card with just the $10 on it is you can order it way ahead of time to ensure you have it for your trip, and then transfer the balance of your rewards to that card at the last minute.
