Reward TV questions

Is it pretty difficult to get a GC through the shopping spree at Reward TV? I tried on Tuesday to get a Walmart GC and they were gone within seconds. I am going to try again this afternoon but I hope I am not wasting my time. Has anyone had any luck with the shopping spree? I can't believe they offer so few GC. I do enjoy the program but if I have to save for 2 million points just to get something through the auctions, I may stop. It is fun but time consuming. Also, once you "buy" a GC, how long does it take to receive it? If I get lucky today, I hope I have it by Christmas. Thanks for your help!

I've tried every trick ever posted on cashing out at RTV and I've never been lucky to win one of the much coveted GCs. I wonder if being on dial-up, which I am, is the problem. Either that or I am one just real unlucky person.

I quit doing the program until I actually win something. No sense wasting my time building up points that I can't spend. I'd have to check again but after a certain don't your points expire?

I'm usually pretty successful...yesterday I was able to get one of the Home Depot cards. The trick is to start trying to get it a minute or two before the stated time...that way your one of the first to see the screen after it refreshes. Then...you just key the info in as fast as you can.

Gift cards usually arrive within a couple of weeks.

I have been wondering this also! I was logged on 10 minutes beforehand on Tues and began refreshing the screen 2 minutes before. I still didn't get one! And I have RR.
Maybe I was just unlucky , I will try again. Its good to know it works for someone! Maybe I'll get it figured out one day.

Well, I wasn't lucky yesterday. I was trying for a Home Depot card too. I did start refreshing about 3 minutes before and I think I reacted pretty quickly when it did pop up but I kept getting messages that another member was already requesting the GC. I kept trying but pretty soon it said out of stock. Bummer. Well, I will try again next week. Any other tips? Thanks!

Rather than just refreshing...I hit the button "How does it Work" and that pops up a smaller window that has a "Buy now" button to the right of RTV Shopping Spree...that takes you back to the window you want to be in...but if you continue doing that (over and over)...as SOON as the gift cards are available, you'll see them.

If you get a chance, take a look and let me know if that makes sense.
