Revolution

Oh, man!!! I hate it when the DVR decides to NOT record!! I had no idea there was an episode on last night until I clicked on this link. I'm hoping it shows up on demand within a few days... what a bummer!

According to my DVR, it was on Monday. I didn't realize it until I was checking the recordings to see if a new Bones was on, and there was a new Revolution! :rotfl:

So....any ideas of what that was she pulled out of Danny?

And I didnt see that coming....spend the 1st half of the season looking for and saving him and then he's dead.

Sigh. I guess I don't need to bother watching it now. :confused3 This entire message showed up in my email.

In the flashback they were sending Danny in to surgery when he was little. Sounded like they did it to save his life. The way it was pulsing it almost made me think of some kind of pacemaker.

It almost sounds like the "thing" was intentionally planted surgically to hide it and preserve it...... not as a treatment for anything. Remember how Mom always told her to take care of her brother? It makes sense to me that they knew how important the implant was and it was their way of making sure that someone would always be protecting it/him.

That wouldn't surprise me. Every time I see the mother I think of her character on LOST. She always had some ulterior motive for everything she did.

Except in the flashback they made it sound like it was a long-shot at saving his life, and that conversation was between Ben and Rachel with no one else around so no need to keep up pretenses if the surgery was a cover story.

After the power went out I'm sure the implant was behind the "protect Danny at all costs" stuff, but I don't think it was put in strictly to hide/protect it. If concealing the implant had been the primary goal, wouldn't they have put it into the healthy child?

This episode seemed to have a few cute Sci Fi references. The one I remember was the name of the guy in the library was Beemas. The was a Twilight Zone episode with Burgess Meredith where he was a librarian in a post - apocalyptic world. I believe his name says Beemas.

Can someone explain why Charlie was mad at her mom after Danny got killed?
I think Charlie's still mad about Rachel leaving them when they were little and it came out when Danny was killed. That's my guess anyway.

Don't forget Echo Base.

But the line of the night was when Monroe wanted to show Governor XXXXXXXX (name withheld for those who haven't seen the ep) of California who was boss. I laughed out loud.

That made my eyes bug right out...they couldn't possibly be trying to infer what I think they were...could they??? Reminds me of the movie "The Postman" with Kevin Costner and who was the mayor of that one town he went through. :rotfl2:

I had to rewind to make sure I heard correctly. Too funny!!

I thought it was funny too! That person-the fictional governor-must have friends writing for the show.

Somehow I missed it, who did he say the Gov. of Cali was?

I'm posting this since it has been a week since airing. Spoiler Alert! Don't read if you don't want to know. ..,,,

"Governor Affleck". It was just said so nonchalantly! lol

Did I understand the reason for black-out correctly?

(Highlight below to read)

The little, floating things are all over the world and can be programed to allow or disallow power. They are turned to dissallow now. The "tower" has the capabilities to reprogram them to turn the power back on. Is that your understanding?

I was VERY intrigued by the previews of next week with the views of Georgia. Wow..... what a difference!
