Revolution

I have to say, this week's ep is probably the best so far. It was actually a great episode. The flashbacks and the way they expanded the characters, made me feel sad when they showed the preview for the next ep, cuz that's the last ep for a while.

wow! that mom sure is a tough cookie! I wasn't expecting that! (don't want to spoil for anyone else who hasn't watched yet)

No comments on the finale. Anyone know when the new season airs--seems as if they already have some of it shot??

I read somewhere that it will be coming back in March. (whenever the Voice comes on again, it will be on in the time slot after the Voice again). :) We really like the show at our house.

I read that they are doing a full 1st season but it sounds like the number of viewers is dropping off. I think the basic story could be great but I'm just not "hooked"...

Live viewership is dropping off but once you get in DVR views its been pulling around 12-12.5 million people a week.

Its back in March 2013 for 12 more episodes to finish out the season.

The whole 'ratings' thing needs to put out to pasture sort of like the electoral college in the presidential election--it's out dated and doesn't work anymore. People DVR their programs now, and watch later than the original broadcast.

:thumbsup2 I haven't had much to say about the finale and haven't been opening this thread because I haven't seen it yet. My husband is on a business trip, the kids didn't go back to school until Tuesday, and the most recent episode is waiting on the DVR for a night when I feel like staying up long enough to watch it after the kids go to bed. :lmao:

There needs to be a way to measure viewers. That's how TV folks set the prices for their advertisers.

Bumping because this aired again last night. What does everyone think??

I do not know if I can post spoilers that have aired or not.

I didn't see it coming either, though in hindsight there was enough foreshadowing that I should have. Rachel is quickly joining Lori (from The Walking Dead) on my list of TV characters I just can't stand, and I don't understand why Miles never seems to eliminate problems when he has the chance.

Not the strongest start to the new season, IMO, but I'll still tune in next week.

I liked it. They've set the tone for the rest of the season. It will be interesting to see what they do to the characters (with the different shake ups) for the rest of season.

2 things I really liked about last night's ep:

1) The the reason WHY Munroe would see the delegate

2) The impromptu surgery

A couple things I didn't get (should have brought up last year)...

Would someone still be skilled enough to fly a helicopter after not doing so for 15 years?

What about all the various fluids (transmission, oil, etc) needed to keep the helicopters flying? Would they not go bad after 15 years?

Yes, I know it's entertainment, but they leave some gaping holes.

Oh, and IMO, you can't post "spoilers" after something has aired. I don't watch until a day or so later, but I don't come into the thread until I do so because I know some surprise may be ruined.

Knowing what the Mom new why did she not kill the guy making the guns?
She has killed anyone else that gets in her way!

:happytv:

I've never liked Rachel, but I don't like that actress. lol
I actually enjoyed the new episode better than I thought I would, I didn't expect what happened but was "happy" enough with it.

To the bolded, it isn't a new season, it's still season 1.

I will give them props for having the pilots be older men rather than some 20 year old who would have been 5 the last time a helicopter flew!

The one hole in the plot that I could see was when Miles is complaining about needing power to run the weapons, I'm thinking to myself "Self, if the helicopter has the amplifyer, and it's got a range of 1/2 a mile or so, then can't you use that power to run your own weapons? It's not ICBMs so that should be plenty of range to get you enough power to shoot them down!"

:) me and myself had the same conversation

Oh, man!!! I hate it when the DVR decides to NOT record!! I had no idea there was an episode on last night until I clicked on this link. I'm hoping it shows up on demand within a few days... what a bummer!
