Reviews on the Anabella hotel!! Please

I am trying to find a hotel and saw this one!! It looks really nice!! has anyone stayed here and just how close is it to DL? I wasn't impressed with the person at reservations!! She wasn't very friendly at all!!! What do you all think of the Candy Cane inn?

I do know some friends of friends who stayed at the Annabella and said it was good, a bit of walk to DL though but they got a good price. CCI is also a bit of a walk, just over half a mile but I would say its closer than the Annabella but a lot more expensive. If you don't mind a walk of that length I would plumb for something like HoJos they have some excellent rates, if you don't want the walk then BWPPI, Tropicanna and Carousel Inn are the closest...

I'm not much of a walker but left my cell phone at the CCI and walked to the motel in under ten minutes. I did catch the shuttle back. They have there own shuttle which is good at night with little ones that do not want to walk another step.

Have not stayed at the Annabella but am also interested in reviews.

I've stayed at this hotel more than any other and would stay here again. The location is great (it can be a bit of a walk after a tired day, but the walk through DD and the Grand Californian isn't bad by any means) and the beds are very comfortable. The people at the front desk can be rushed (and thereby short) but I wouldn't judge the hotel by it.

My entire family (a group of 11) booked four rooms there a few years back and we had a TERRIBLE experience. From check in to check out, we did not have a single positive experience. Infact, in one of the rooms we had, the AC broke and when we called to report it to the front desk, they HUNG UP ON US. We were so shocked.

Needless to say, we will not be staying there again.
