My mom saw this on TV and really likes it. I thought about getting it for her as a birthday present.

Does anyone own this?

Any reviews - good/bad?

We got one for Christmas and like it quite a bit. It's easy to use and fairly effective (not quite as good as the infomercial would make you believe though). We especially like it on our hardwood and tile floors and I like to use it to get under the toekick areas in our kitchen and under our tables and chairs.

My biggest complaint about is that it seems to pick up everyone of DW's loose hairs which end up getting wrapped around the sweeper's rollers. Doesn't seem to diminish it's effectiveness but when I turn it over to dump the canister, I see all that nasty hair wrapped around those rollers. :scared:

The most frequent user of the SS in our house? Our DS5! He loves to use it.

A friend of mine ordered it. They charged her **$50.00** for shipping.

Check Bed, Bath & Beyond or Linens 'n Things... I'm pretty sure I've seen them there.

We have two -- one for the first floor of the house (all ceramic tile and hardwoods) and one for the basement (berber carpeting). Beats the heck out of dragging out the vacuum cleaner or broom and dustpan all the time. :thumbsup2

We have one of those swiffer vacs and it works great for hard floors. Also cheap enough you can get more than one.
