Reviews of Narcoosee's, Please

Would anyone care to share their experiences with Narcoosee's with me, please. I'm looking for a nice sit-down meal after arriving and in the GF. Thanks in advance!

This is one of our favorite resort restaurants. We just ate at Narcoosee's a few weeks ago and had a great meal. They did just recently (last month) change their menu and they have a brand new chef. I was dissapointed to see their scallops were no longer offered, however.

I had the surf and turf and DH had the lobster. My tenderloin was so tender I hardly needed a knife. The lobster was also very good. We've always had great experiences with the CM's and I love being able to watch Wishes (they dim the lights and pipe in the music) from the table. One word of caution about planning to dothis however...we had a window by the table and thought it would be the perfect view - even waited 45 minutes after our PS time so we could sit by the window for Wishes. There is a wrap around verandah that goes along the outside of the restaurant....just as Wishes was getting ready to begin people started coming over to stand on the verandah - not people eating at the restaurant, just people walking up to the verandah - they stood right in front of the window blocking our view...happened to all of us with window tables. The people at the next table asked the CM about having the people outside move and they said it was a common complaint but they could not do anything about it.

So, if your main reason for eating here is to watch Wishes then I would say CG or Ohana's would be a better choice.

If you just want a nice meal with good service then I highly reccomend it!

This used to be a pretty good restaurant, nothing spectacular; with the new chef, it's fantastic, ranking with Citricos, Artist Point, or Jiko as one of WDW's best restaurants.

I reviewed Narcoosee's back in June. If I can find my review, I'll post it. I too had the surf and turf, and it was among the best I've ever eaten.

Just an FYI that Narcoossee's is only open for dinner. I love eating here when we stay at the GF. It's casual, but the food and the views are excellent. I admit it's not the best spot to see the fireworks, although you can go out onto the wrap around deck and see them pretty well. I just enjoy seeing the lights reflect in the water.
