Pirate Cruise

DD8 and DS5 had a great time on this cruise!!! They say they actually ate the PB&J sandwiches. They have already told me they will do it again next yr.

GF Cafe

DH and I had a peaceful and delicious breakfast at GF CAfe. I had A vegetable frittata, which is an open omelet. It was awesome!! Hubby had Spanish omelet which I thought was OK but he really enjoyed. Came with hash brown potatoes which were yummy. DH was a bit annoyed because server asked if we wanted toast (I didn;t) but he did and when we got the bill they charged us $2 for the toast!!!Other than taht it was a wonderful meal--but remember it was our only meal at DW without kids so that alone ranks it high!!!!

LeCellier--dinner 7/7

No trip is complete without a stop at LeCEllier for Cheddar Cheese Soup!!! It was great!!! WE also had the mixed geen saled with crumbled blue cheese that was delicious!!! DH and I had special for the night which was shoulder cut steak (tasted just like filet mignon ) and lobster tail. Excellent!! My mom had the salmon and it was really good too.My girls split the kids sreak and really enjoyed it. Ds had hotdog or grilled cheese --can't remember!

Coral Reef-dinner 7/8

We love this place and are never disappointed!! DH says to mention it is pricy but the setting is well worth it!! The fish dishes are fabulous!!! The mahi-mahi and the tuna on the menu were fabulous!! For appetizer, the shrimp medallion was super!!! DH had the duck salad which the server had recommended--I wasn't sure about the duck but I tried his and it was really good!!I had the cold soup(vichysoisse)--which was so-so. Overall a great meal!!

Beaches and Cream 7/8

After the Coral Reef we took boat to BC cuz kids had been dying to try kitchen sink at B&C. We got there about 7:00 and waited an hour for a table!!! But we really enjoyed trying to conquer the KS (and FAILED!!). We were the only ones in the place who had ordered it so all eyes were on us!!!IT was pretty good too if you like sundaes with a lot of stuff--which I do!!

Thank you for your reviews!

Coral Reef is now on our favorites list! We finally tried it this June during lunch and it was declared a "must" do during any trip to the world! DH had the mahi-mahi also, and although I loved my shrimp dish I kept on sneaking tastes of his. DD ordered a salad with seafood on it (can't remember) and DS had your basic children's menu in addition to the kids' specialty drink. It was such a cool *pun intended* retreat from the Florida heat. We will definately be back!

We meant to do the kitchen sink this year for ds, but alas, we never did make it. Glad to hear you at least put a dent in it!

Thanks again,
Debbie

Wow ~ I bet all eyes were on your for the Kitchen Sink!

Thanx for the review on the Coral Reef ~ I have a PS there in August and I have only heard so/so reviews. I will be sure to skip the chilled soup ;)

By the way ~ I know you headed over to BC for dessert but did any of the kids try the peanut butter play-doh at coral reef?

>>^..^<<

Knowiing we were heading to B&C we didn't even glance at the dessert menu at the Coral Reef. However last year the kids loved the make your own sundae dessert at Coral Reef!! Kinda pricey($5.25) for a scoop of vanilla and a few cups of toppings but they write something on the plate like"my very own sundaae" in chocolate sauce Theyhave never tried the peanut butter play doh but sounds like fun!!!

Thanks for sharing ~ Wonderful reviews!!!!
