DH, myself and our 19 month old princess: enjoyed our stay and meals very much. DD is not picky at all and eats anything we ate so we did not give her any of the "kids food" which seemed to be mainly mac n cheese.
Service was excellent everywhere. We were on the dining plan.
Here are some reviews of our table service meals:

Biergarten: A little heavy on the meat for me, but perfect for meat lovin' DH and DD liked everything as well. Lots of sausages, shnitzel, roast chicken and so on. Even most of the salads seemed to have meat in them :) Everything was tasty though and the service was great. DD LOVED the oompah music and show. She waved her little arms all through the meal.

Olivia's: We are here because we wanted conch fritters. We ate out on the patio. Everything was tasty. We really liked the laid-back atmosphere here and would eat here again for sure. DD slept in a sling for the entire meal.

Spoodles: DH's favourite meal (steak with shrimp and scallops). My favourite appetizer (all the yummy dips). My steak was a little undercooked. (actually it was cooked perfectly to how I normally like it: medium rare but being pregnant I have to order all my meat medium!). Yummy creme brulee dessert. Would eat here again for sure.

Cape May Cafe: Nice atmosphere and a good buffet. Didn't really like the mussels and clams too much though which were the big draw. Everything else was good. My stomach got really upset after though, the only time this happened on the trip.

Kona: My absolute favourite meal of the trip. Crab cakes for appy's (DD scarfed them down as well), coconut almond chicken and the most delicious caramel banana creme brulee for dessert. I am sooo happy we decided to eat here.

Crystal Palace: we had to eat at 3:45 since that was the only reservation we could get but it was worth it. DD was just thrilled to see Pooh and the gang and we had a great view of the castle from our table. The food was all basic food but very tasty. DD was happy to see her favourites: broccoli, rice and fish. DH was happy to see prime rib :) It was all good.

For our counter service meals we ate at: Sunshine Seasons (yummy noodles), Tusker House??? (can't remember exact name, sorry - not my favourite meal, but not bad), Toy story pizza (good deal, yummy pizza), Everything pop (i liked it, dh did not), columbia harbour house (great fish, yummy tuna sandwich), Pecos Bill (Huge meal, great to share: DH made a "salad" out of the fixin's.) We got DD one children's meal at Pop which was the mickey waffles in the mickey mouse bowl. It was cute and she liked it.

I think that is it. I wish we could go back right now!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: I forgot to mention that although at first we were in shock at the amt. of food, toward the end of the trip we figured out we could trade our CS desserts for milk (which we carried in a cooler for DD), other drinks or snacks.
That made it much more manageable!

Thanks for the reviews! I have a question. Do you know what they put in the tuna at Columbia Harbor House? DH doesn't like any veggies in his.

Thanks again!

Lilpnutmama,

I'm taking my 4 year old and my then 19 month old DD in December. Can you tell me how it went with the little one? I am concerned about naps, meltdowns, etc. What time did you eat dinner? Did you go back to the room for naps? If so, what time? Did your DD sleep in the stroller? Could she go on a lot of the rides? Sorry so many questions. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Val

Jennifer, I think there was veggies in there. I don't usually like plain tuna with nothing in it. But not 100% positive. They do have other stuff on the menu though other then the tuna. DH was quite surprised with their fish. it was fish n chips style but really nice white flaky fish.

Val: we had planned to go to the hotel every afternoon for naps but she ended up going to sleep on the go. we had a stroller and i had brought a sling (she's tiny) and would start asking to sleep around 11am or so (naptime is usually 1 ish). so we'd go into somewhere dark and relaxing (like hall of presidents show!) put her in the sling and she'd crash. then we'd go to eat ourselves usually while she was asleep in the sling and then save some for her in the little cooler. Sometimes we'd go back to the hotel anyway and then play in the kiddie pool for a couple of hours. Sometimes she would nap again later at 4ish. I made all our reservations for sit downs at 5:30 pm which worked well. She did like the rides but was scared on her first one as it was dark. Honestly she has more meltdowns at home then she did there. there was so much to see it kept her interested. HTH!

Thanks for sharing. I hope my 20 month old does as well as your DD did.
And congrats on your pregnancy!

I have not heard that you could trade the CS desserts for other items. Is this new? How did you find out. Is this maybe only at certain places due to DM discretion? I would love to know because I'm not really interested in dessert at lunch. Also how did you find the new snack selections to be? Glad you enjoyed yourself... even being pregnant and with a 19 month old...good for you!

DH just asked somewhere, I think the first place he asked was at Columbia harbour house. then we did it again at toy story pizza with no problem.
At pop we had shakes instead of dessert.
We didnt find out about the new snacks until the last day!!! but we used them to get some gummy mickey's a friend had asked for.
