Please provide recent reviews for meals at Town's Town Square. I have just changed our ADR from San Angel Inn to Tony's Town Square as my children 7 and 9 want to see the lady and the tramp theme. Thank you in advance for your advice/reviews.:)

There have been a lot of bad reviews on this restaurant, but my family has always loved it. We have come to realize that we prefer lunch to dinner at Tony's for a couple of reasons: 1) it is less crowded at lunch; dinnertime can be quite insane and 2) the portions are smaller at lunch and we don't like to waste food if we can help it. We have always had a good meal and service has always been outstanding.

Like the other post has said there are alot of bad reviews out there. But since trying Tony's in 2003, we have been back every year since. And on one of our trips there was 10 of us. The service has always been great, along with the food. If you are going there for spaghetti and meatballs, you maybe disappointed. But there are so many other things to eat. This past trip in Oct 07 was great and the server Greg was one of the best servers I have ever had in my life. NEVER did we have to ask for anything. And when our drinks were just below half...he had another one there for us. We were there for dinner so it was busy too. They have changed some of the things on their menu, but it was still all delicious!! If you decide to go...I hope you enjoy yourself!!!

We were there this past August and I have to agree with PPs. The service was wonderful, the food was plain - pretty bleh! and I have to say I really did not see much in the was of Lady & the Tramp theming other than a couple of pictures on the wall.

I agree that the theming was not as heavy as I expected. We ate there last Saturday, with little wait. We did not have ADRs. We were pleased with the food and service. We all had spaghetti and meatballs, I got the combo with meatball and sausage. Delicous!:thumbsup2

We went in October and my kids are 6 and 9. The only downside was the length of the wait to be seated. We had an ADR and waited about 40 minutes after our time to be seated. However, we were a group of 7 and it was the night of MNSSHP and it was raining- so I think people were not in a big hurry to leave.

Overall, I thought the food was okay but not great. The atmosphere was nice but not alot of theme.

We ate here for our second time a few weeks ago. I just do lunches at the TS, and I always try for a late lunch.

It's pretty good. I like the atmosphere and the service was great both visits. My mother had the eggplant parmigiano and really liked it. I had a flat bread (pizza) with chicken and I believe some spinach. I'd say Macaroni grill has better food, but for WDW it's not too bad.

We like Tony's. The last time, our service was outstanding. Our server was sweet and very attentive to everything. The atmosphere is adorable. And the food was good. Not the most authentic italian food. But it was yummy. Oh, and the portions were huge. The sweetpea and I shared something, and had plenty left over. I know Tony's gets bad reviews, but we really enjoy it.

Living near Disney World we eat often at restaurants in the parks. Tony's is on our "just OK" list. The service has been fine and the wait time hasn't ever been too long, but if you're looking for a real Italian food experience this isn't the place to get it. Not that the food is bad, it's just not "Italian" - more like a bland Americanized pseudo-Italian style.

Tony's is on our family's "must do" list:grouphug: . Gourmet? no, but we love :cloud9: the atmosphere and the flatbreads are really good. We only do lunch because we want the flatbreads - I don't believe they are available for dinner.:thumbsup2

It was one of our favorite meals on our trip in Sept. My DH and I did not order spaghetti and I think that's why we had a good meal, when you read the bad reviews most of them are complaining about the spaghetti. My DD and DS did have the Spaghetti and they liked it. We had good service and didn't wait long at all to be seated when we arrived. My only complaint was the desert. My family will definitely go back.

I Agree!! Our family ate there in Sept. Also and we didn't order Spaghetti.
We ordered Salmon, NY Strip Steak, and the White Pizza and all were
very Good. It was our best food at a TS Restaurant we had on our Whole Trip.
We Did an Early 11:30am Lunch and it was empty.
Service was Excellent, we were on the DDP (this year which included 18% tip already)
but also left an additional Tip for the Server who was very Pleasent.
This is now our Favorite Resaurants at WDW adn hoping we get as good
a meal and service on our next trip.
We also LOVED the Charm of the Restaurant,
Very Victorian Charm with a hint of Lady and the Tramp, Perfect!!!
I think everyone should try it once and then form you own review.
Not everyone will like the same things or even dislike the same things,
it worth a try!!!

We met friends here prior to MNSSHP in October. I was so embarassed to have suggested this restaurant. We'd eaten here prior and it was okay, not super great, but good. This time not so much. The menu was extremely limited. There was only one salad dressing available. The food wasn't great. I had a steak which was okay but a little thin and fatty. The spegetti was horrible. The canneloni said it was served with a white sauce but didn't mention there would also be a red sauce. The two sauces didn't mix well. Our other friend had the seafood dish and said the seafood was rubbery and not cooked well. The atmosphere was nice, but not special enough to endure the food. I'd reschedule if I were you

We did Tony's Last year on a whim, as we cancelled a few of our ressies after DS didn't do too well with the mornings and we got one for lunch and it was wonderful.

There is a tv playing in the living room with lady and tramp on it. Kids love that.

The restaurant itself is gorgeous.

Our waiter was super nice and very efficient.

The food was good.... The dessert, I had, Amaretto Cheesecake was too die for

In fact, we went again this year for dinner and had another wonderful experience and that same awesome dessert again:love:

here is a pic of the dessert:

It is our family's favorite. We've always been puzzled by its lack of popularity, especially considering the lack of other non-buffet choices in the MK.

My family and I ate at Tony's on 9/20/07 and thought it was very good. The portions are huge however and I left feeling stuffed. None of us wanted to waste anything. ;)
We were on the dining plan and got appetizers, entrees and a dessert sampler plate. The 4 cheese spinach artichoke dip is very good as was the chicken florentine. The tiramisu on the dessert sampler was excellent and the amaretto cheesecake was also good. The canoli was kind of gross but since I have never eaten canoli before I don't really have anything to compare it to.:confused3
I think this was probably my favorite meal of the whole week. Probably because it was in MK and also because it was not a buffet. When you have children and you are at a buffet it seems like you spend most of your time running to get some sort of food.
Our daughters really liked the food and the atmosphere. We will definitely (hopefully someday) be going back.;)

Thank you for all of the wonderful reviews! I enjoy receiving everyone's experiences and opinions.:)

My family has always enjoyed it and I've always been surprised at the reviews on here. I guess maybe we dont have amazing expectations for it, but I think the food is good. (side note: i've never ordered the spaghetti, which seems to take a lot of the heat)
