Anyone have the Mickey's then and now waffle iron by Villaware? I really like the designs, but it is expensive. How does it work/last? I'm missing my Disney waffles:rotfl: .Thanks.

We have the regular Mickey waffle maker by Villawear and love it! I have had it for several years and never had a problem.

I have it and like it. I haven't had problems with it, except that Dillard's sold it for $75, then marked it down to $50. We just returned the old one (hadn't been opened) and bought a new one. Worked out fine.

Hi, just thought I drop a line that Disneyshopping.com has the then and now waffles for $50 and if you look on budget boards you may find a code for free
shipping and so much off.

I don't have the Mickey, but I received the Pooh/Tigger waffler (which I believe is also made by Villaware) for a housewarming gift last year. I love it! It makes great waffles - they come out golden every time. It's easy to use (and I hate to cook)! I just love waffles on a Sunday morning! :thumbsup2

I have the Villaware Funnies Waffler ($24 on Amazon) and I love it! It makes 2 small mickey heads that come out perfectly. I had extra batter over the weekend so I just made the rest of the batch and put them in individual bags into the freezer so that DH can heat them up in the toaster for the kids during the week as a special treat. :cool1:

redkitty - I was looking at that waffler on amazon but it doesn't give the size of the waffles. Are they the 4 inch mickey heads? How long does it take? Thanks for the info that is a great price!

Thanks for all the replies! I was looking at the one on Disneyshopping and did end up buying it and the Disneyland tin signs (also on sale) with the 20% off code, for a total of $79.98. So I got free shipping too:cool1: .

redkitty I make extra pancakes for ds to freeze and eat during the week. Now he'll be eating Mickey waffles before school :goodvibes .

I would say they are about 4 inches each. My DD6 can eat almost 2 and my DS3 usually eats 1 to 1 1/2. It takes between 3 and 3 1/2 minutes depending on how dark you like them. Glad to help with the price info, best money I've spent in a long time! :thumbsup2

It's great isn't it? I got the idea from someone here. It brings the magic a little closer to home. I'm not sure who gets a bigger kick out of the mickey waffles, me or the kids!
