Ok so we were a party of three me- 28, DH-29 and DD 30 mos.
We were on the dining plan, but opted a few OOP to pay for dinner at Ohana for Granny & Granddad when they joined us for meals.

Sunday Feb 5th: 1900 Park Fare
Loved- Strawberry soup, both pastas from the bar, turkey, tomatoes & moz balls, DH had the prime rib for 3 trips to the bar, I am guessing it was good, but I would sooner quit WDW before eating meat that red, Nothing else really sticks out in my mind about this meal. We enjoyed it, it was great to see Cindy for 1 TS, the Fairy Godmother was less than fairy. She was barely able to muster a smile for the picture, let alone give me the warm and fuzzy feelings I was so hoping for. She is a favorite of DD, she calls her the Fairy Mommy, how is it that kids are so stinkin cute? DD is an odd kid, she is a very picky eater, prefering fruits and veggies over everything else and the only meat she eats is chicken nuggets 1 time every 2 weeks and only if they are from McDonalds. So here she had fruit, carrot sticks, tomatoes and more fruit.
Overall- OK. We will do the CRT in Sept with SIL, MIL, GMIL and nieces.

Monday Feb 6th: Chef Mickeys and LeCellier
CM- Loved all the characters. There was a clear difference between the Goofys, one was very playful and animated while the other was... a dud. Luck was with us & DD and the good Goofy played for a long time and then when we left he again played with her, excellent experience. As for the food- I love bacon! And they cook it just right for my liking, as if they already know I need bacon. (And that I have lost 38 pounds on Weight Watchers since May 2005, and 22 of those pounds since Nov 1st.) Dh liked the potatoes, I could due with out the bacon bits in the potatoes, odd I know after I professed love for bacon. I also like the breakfast pie thingy, lots of veggies and cheese. DD loved this as the had great fruit to chose from: watermelon, oranges, pears, strawberries and bananas. She did have the blueberry muffins too, but only if I could get them out of the wrapper without "breaking" the bottoms. She is slightly OCD.
Overall- We love this, have done it before and will continue to do it for each trip.
LeCellier- LOVE!
I had the mushroom filet, cheese soup and the maple creme brulee. I LOVED IT ALL, except the soup. It was good but I really would like it better it it were smoother, it was slightly grainy in texture, but had a good flavor. I have never had a better dessert than the maple creme brulee, it was amazing.
DH had the shrip cocktail which wasnt what he was expecting, but he really liked it and I had a taste to confirm it was indeed good stuff. The had the 14oz something steak, said it was good but didnt "love" the potatoes that came with. He had the whiskey cake, but didnt like the orange stuff that was the garnish.
DD had the fries and cherry tomatoes and melon and milk. Funny thing was that DD wasnt on DP as she is under 3, but we were not charged for any of her food or drink at this meal. I asked server about it and he said "no big deal."
Overall- We will eat here every trip if I have any say, and I do, so there!

Tuesday Feb 7th: CP and Pecos Bills and Ohana
CP- love! Will do again just for the early access to the park and only 1 TS.
I again had nearly 3 pounds of bacon and DD had fruit, the strawberries here were the exploding with juice kind, so bring bibs and goggles for all and DH had the same old breakfast stuff. He was again pleased as the have the potatoes here too but they are just slightly different.
Overall- we will be back!
Pecos Bills- We both had the chicken wrap and fries with PB brownie thing. DD had the carrots & celery, Mickey head cheese crackers, applesauce and a few fries. Please take this warning seriously! IF you order the wrap, when you sit down... open hte wrap and mix all contents. DH had all the dressing stuff on one end and none on the other, he is a huge baby. But really when he opened the super saucy side even I was like "whoa! thats a gallon of sauce" Made me glad it wasnt mine. :teeth:
Overall- we have eaten here many times and find it a good value, filling and just what it is quick food.
Ohana- This was our first trip to Ohana as well. Granny & Granddad joined us for this meal, they are from Bartow and came over to be with us @ POP and @ meals for a few days.
LOVED- the salad, the shrimp, the wings (I do not eat meat on the bone, any kind on meat that is still on the bone, isnt going to be on my plate... ever!) however I did get a bit of the MEAT ONLY off DH plate and was very pleased, I found that I liked the wontons with all three sauces, the veggies are just that (and really after losing 22 pounds in 3 months, I have had my fill of veggies for a minute- ok? I want some-need some junk) the potaotes were a favorite of everyone, the turkey was very good, the pork was very good, the steak was a bit odd and please add sausage to the list of things I do not eat. DH said the sausage was very good, but I find sausage in general a questionable food. OK the bread pudding/ice cream/banana caramel thing was TO DIE FOR! I really have nothing to compare this meal to as we never had it the "old way" before the changes, but we enjoyed it very much. DD had a mountain of red peppers and pineapple, in seperate bowls of course and all of one before the other.
Overall- we would eat here again, maybe every other time, just to get in other stuff

Wednesday Feb 8th: Toy Story pizza place and WCC
Toy Story pizza place was open and convient and really it was on the same level as say Pizza Hut. Nothing great, but certainly edible. I am not sure what this place is really called, but it had the Toy Story guys on the roof. DD had chips with ranch dressing and salad.
WCC- This was a fun meal. G&G joined us for this as well.
We all had the skillet, I liked the salad very much, I also had the beans and corn and cole slaw. Due to the bone and meat rule, I didnt have the chicken or ribs and the sausage was out due to being sausage. Had a tiny bit of the pulled pork and thought it tasted more like ham. (Yes I know from the same animal) DH and I had the choc cake and G&G had the apple tortilla thing. I say ours was good and G&G says theres was too. DD had the corn and corn and corn. She is a very simple kid. :)

Thursday Feb 9th: 1900 Park Fare breakfast and Columbia Harbor House and POP food court
1900- OK so it is just breakfast already.... again bacon and the yumm-o creapes with strawberry sauce, I think I had 3 of these with my pound of bacon. No idea what DH had, but he was disappointed that they didnt have the potatoes like CM & CP. DD had the same fruit and today she mixed it up with added cheerios- no milk, but still ate like cereal with a spoon. Silly bear!
Columbia Harbor House- We both had the fish and chicken with fries. Fish was good, chicken not so much. ( but I am super picky about my chicken and meats in general as you may have guessed) DD was asleep and later had carrots, applesauce, tomatoes and pickles at Cosmic Rays.
POP- DH had been smelling the lasagna all week in the food court or so he thought, when he went to order it at 9:30pm, he sees that it is veggie. :rotfl2: I have no idea what he got instead. I settled for the hot dog, as I wanted to get one at Caseys but got there during Spectro and then had to devise a plan to get accross the street in record time after Spectro into the Main Street bakery for a choc chip ice cream sammie and be back out before Wishes, so the hot dog at POP- yuck!

Friday Feb 10th- POP
Ok already!! I am tired of eating... DH and I both had breakfast wrap. Yes it has bacon in it, but it isnt real... it was bacon bits. Should have had the muffin or cheese danish or just skipped.

We had several snacks all through out, we had: popcorn, several Mickey bars, more fruit, waters and soda for DH.

Great review - thanks!

I have eaten at most of the places you did and I would agree with you completely! I too am very very picky about meats.

Kelly

What a bummer you were disappointed in the fairy godmother! When we went in September, she was wonderful!!! Was there a possible different Fairy godmother when you were there? The one we had is below. She was so nice and sweet!

Congrats on the weight loss! You and I seem to be on the same track. I have also lost 38 lbs. on Weight Watchers since May 23, 2005. Most of my weight was lost at the begining and have recently hit a plateau but I am not giving up. Keep up the good work. :cheer2:

I love Le Celler and Chef Mickeys. I plan to go to WCC and 1900 Park Fare on my next visit. My DH will be happy to hear that the prime rib was rare at the buffet.

Your DD sounds adorable.

Thanks for the review,

Thanks for posting!

Your DD remined me of one of my DSs who would not eat meat except for an occasional McD's hamburger when he was a toddler! I am happy to report he has grown into a healthy, happy eater of many things.

As for all your food preferences, like mother like daughter??? ;)

Loved your reviews, thanks again! :goodvibes
