We went to Planet Hollywood for dinner on a Wednesday night. It was crowded, with waits for parties of all sizes, so I was glad I had a PS for 9PM.
We started with the Chicken Crunch (chicken fingers breaded with Captain Crunch cereal), then I had the L.A. Lasagna and Charlie had a Classic Cheeseburger (substituting bread for a sesame seed bun, since he is allergic to sesame seeds).
The food was OK, not great but not bad. Neither of us was wild about the Chicken Crunch (it was kind of dry, and the coating stuck to my teeth). My L.A. Lasagna was OK, and Charlie liked his burger.
I'd read the restaurant was noisy, and that's an understatement. They have a VJ talking as well as loud music. It was fun, though, and Charlie really seemed to enjoy the hustle and bustle. We also enjoyed the memorabilia.
Atmosphere: A- (if you like loud, colorful places)
Food: C
Service: B+
