Review: Planet Hollywood, 11/24

Holy Cow This place was nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've never been before and wanted to say that we've ate at Planet Hollywood. We went with my parents, and my sister with her husband. Our name was put in at 8:25 pm. We got a table at 9:30. Not too bad of wait, that's what it's like a nice restaurant in town. But, it was so LOUD and crowded. It was nuts! It was fun to look at all the movie memories. Both dh and I ordered a burger/fries because they looked so good. THEY were HUGE! I think we were finally eating our food after 10 pm. That's just so late to eat. My parents ordered fajitas which looked yummy. Dh and I used our Dreammaker package coupon so including our tip, the meal cost us 5 or 6 bucks cash. NOT bad at all!!!!! It was just a crazy place that we won;t probably go back to, but it was fun to do once.

Is Planet Hollywood always crowded like that?

We felt exactly the same way about Planet Hollywood. The food was really good, and the theming is great. But the place was absolutely crazy.

It was so crowded and loud, we had to shout across the table to talk, and even then I wasn't sure what DH was saying. Finally, we gave up and just ate without talking, just occasionally pointing to one of the cool pieces of movie memorabilia.

I think our server was nice, but I'm not sure because I didn't hear a word he said! He was smiling, but for all I know he was cursing me the whole time.

I'm glad we went, but we definitely won't be going back. There are too many places at WDW where you can enjoy good food, nice theming AND conversation.

So would you recommend trying it? Was the food worth the wait/craziness? I kind of want to try it (the food sounds good). Maybe an earlier time like 4pm would be better?

Maybe earlier would be better. It was fun to try once. Especially since with our coupon it only cost us 5 or 6 dollars. It was the CHEAPEST meal we had all week so I cannot complain there. If you're not bothered by loud, crowded places then yeah it's worth it to try once to say that you did it. Our food was really good. The portions were huge too.
