We met my parents in Epcot yesterday, and of course, as usually we had the afternoon deluge. We were in the Chinese pavillion and getting very hungry. Nine Dragons was right there and seemed like it was a good choice, considering we really didn't want to get back out in the pouring rain.

We were seated immediately (got there about 4:45) and had a wonderful waitress who was training. She was very courteous, knowledgeable and the service was impeccable.

My parents ordered several appetizers, including the shrimp, the dumplings and the springrolls, as well as the special for the day... the Szeuwan Beef Pot (very hot and spicy) but everyone said it was delicious. DD had the Sweet and Sour Chicken from the kids menu which was good, and DH and I shared the Meal for 2 which included Spring Rolls, Wonton Soup, Dumplings, a choice of 2 entrees ( we ordered the Shrimp and Chinese Vegetables and the Kung Bao Chicken (also right spicy), Jasmine Tea, Fortune Cookies and Red Bean Ice Cream. Everything on that combo platter was fantastic. Fresh, hot and delicious.

During the meal, they had the parade for the Chinese New Year through the restaurant and the kids were all invited to join in. It was a lot of fun for DD.

After hearing poor reviews on this restaurant, we were hesitant, but no more. We will definitely be adding this to our list of "must do" restaurants. Now we are willing to be more adventurous, and may have to try Alfredos and Le Chefs...lol!

:D Thanks so much for posting! I am happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed Nine Dragons. We have a PS time booked for our trip in September and like you I was concerned after hearing alot of negative comments about the restaurant. I worry about everything and had second thoughts that I was making a horrible decision.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease.

Have a wonderful day!

For posting we had lunch buffet served at your table and it was good. You don't see to many posts that have good things to say about this dning venue.:earsboy: :sunny: :earsgirl:

Thanks for the positive review. I ate there last year for lunch and enjoyed it and am going back next month to do the all-you-can-eat lunch.

Reviews for this restaurant have improved immensely over the past year or two. I hope to check it out next trip.

I didn't know that they had an all you can eat buffet at lunch. I will have to tell my husband, so we can check that out, as well!

The all you can eat lunch has been discontinued at Nine Dragons. We were there this week and got a copy of the new menu. I'll be sending it off to Mary as soon as I can. Instead of the all you can eat lunch, they now have the Meal for 2 or the Meal for 3 which has more than most people can eat for ~ $30. eeyore0062, I'm glad you enjoyed your lunch.

The newest additions to the menu are the dim-sum offerings. These were tested over the past 3 months and are now a permanent addition to the Nine Dragons dining experience. The menu includes a variety of cold and hot dim-sum items and everything S.O. and I have tried so far has been outstanding. We can't wait to go back in September..................

My personal favorites on the menu are the Shao Mai dim-sum and the Honey-Sesame Chicken entree. This will definitely be a cheat meal in Sept., but I'll be good and go right back to Atkins afterwards :)

I liked the unlimited lunch sampler because we could try a bunch of stuff. I was looking forward to it in a couple months for my trip. Is it 30 for 2 or for 3? What did it include? Thanks!:(
