I am considering eating here instead of Flame Tree this Sept. We haven't been as impressed with FT lately, though I love the atmosphere. Is the food good at Y & Y? And are there nice places to sit out of the sun? Thanks for your honest opinions!

DH and I both got the shrimp lo mein and then met my family at Flame Tree. It was very good and a generous portion - neither of us finished. There weren't a TON of options, but they all sounded very good. I'd give it a try!

Thank you. We'll probably try it. How about the tables - sunny/shady? Relaxing or hectic?

I like Flame Tree better but I don't get anything at FT but the chicken salad.

Been to Y&Y once, it was OK. Standard mall-variety Chinese food. But then I have only been there once.

The seating is not nearly as nice, but there seems to be enough seating. I don't remember shade but there might have been some umbrella tables.

I'm not sure about the seating, because we met the rest of my family at FTBBQ to eat, but from what I saw there were a few tables next to the Y&Y. No umbrellas that I remember, but I think there was a bigger seating area in the back.

Not hectic and the food is good
