We went to the dessert party on Monday, Aug. 8th. Although the price was only $15 per person, it really wasn't worth it. There were only a few options including almond cookies, mini key lime cheesecake bites, chocolate lava mini cakes, mini orange sponge cakes, coffee and lemonade.

They gave everyone a Vero Beach luggage tag and a member magic light up lanyard (dd's was broken!). Later a CM asked where we got the light up lanyard and commented they shouldn't have been given out - she was concerned the light on the beach would disrupt the sea turtles coming ashore to lay eggs.

The party attendance was low - I'd estimate 15 to 20 people total. Donald and Goofy in pirate outfits made a brief appearance. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it. The food tasted very processed and pre packaged. We only stayed about half an hour even though the event was an hour long.

Our family will be taking in the dessert party this evening. As far as Disney goes; dessert, luggage tag, and a lanyard for $15 doesn't sound terrible by any means. If value is all that you seek, I wouldn't start with Disney. I'll be sure to post results of our experience at a later date, but I think the overall experience as viewed through the eyes or our children will weigh heavy on my review.

"If value is all that you seek"...wow, what a snarky comment! Regardless, I hope you enjoy the party.
