We were here for two nights staying in a tent site. The park was very clean the bathrooms especially clean! Pool was heated and very nice. Enclosed playground for the kids and an enclosed pet walk area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tent sites were on the small size. When you look at the pictures my set up took the whole width of our site. It was just a bit longer then our truck in width.
This park is definitely geared towards those that just need a place to rest and sleep while visiting DLR! The room between sites is small but at least you get a little grass!
Some people walked from the RV park to DLR. They do offer a shuttle for $3 per person and it drops off and picks up 4-5 times a day. The only bummer is that the earliest shuttle there was at 8:45am so you could not be there right when they open and the last shuttle back is 11pm so you could not stay until closing. If you have your own car this would not be a problem.
Not many trees for the tents which when hot makes your tent even hotter. You have a great view of the fireworks the boys and I decided that the view from the RV park was better then what we could see in the park! I have included some pictures.
