Hi! The weekend section of Wall Street Journal features the review of AKL and GF. The writer stayed at the two bedroom Savannah suite at AKL and the one bedroom suite at GF. (The Finicky Traveler features review of only delux hotels around the world)
The review is positive overall. She mentions the usual gripes about AKL--too dark, too far away from the action. She also mentions that she didn't get the robes. I guess at the price she was paying, she should have gotten one. There is no mention of whether she called the mousekeeping. She complements CMs and dining exps--Jiko and Calif. Grill in particular
Then she says there was a delay in check-in for concierge. Apparently she just went to the front desk. A visit to this board would have clued her in.
Then there is this nugget of info.
"My travel agent had warned me 'it's easier to get into the White House armed' then the coveted Princess Breakfast. but before the trip an Animal Kingdom concierge helped my sister-in-law, Penny, secure three seats at the next-best thing: breakfast at Cinderella's Castle." Huh??? Correct me if I'm wrong--I have two boys so I 've never had to worry about CRT PS--but I thought it was the other way around?!
I only hope this piece of misinformation would mean less competition for CRT PS.
