It will probably still be hot in Oct so that will affect how much you can eat. And the Deluxe Dining Plan includes the appetizer as well as dessert. I know at home when I'm eating a big meal like that I barely eat any lunch.Ugh you guys are killing my plans. We were thinking lunch 11ish and then 7ish for dinner. That's a solid 8 hours between meals and would think that should be decent........I think.
From a time perspective. The parks are open 13 hours a day or less. You're planning to spend 4 of those hours eating most every day, so you cut yourself down to 9 hours. If you're planning on doing an afternoon break figure an hour transportation both ways unless you plan on using Uber. So 3 hours max for that. So that will leave you 6 hours of park time left assuming you rope drop and stay till close. That will make the time you are at the parks feel a lot more rushed because you have only so much time. Plus, it will be harder to fit things in when you're constantly working around reservations. People complain about working around one reservation a day. Two will be very restrictive. Plus, I wouldn't want to spend that much much time sitting young kids down at restaurants every day when they're in disney and there's so much to explore. Even if its just getting a quick service meal and going to the pool at the resort, I'd much rather that. But you know your kids best, if you think they will be ok sitting this long every day and not get antsy go for it. But if you think they may get a little restless, I'd say cut back a bit. It's not worth the struggle and stress it'll be for you. I do think most people that do the deluxe plan tend to be couples going childless or people getting it for only one of their two rooms and splitting the credits between double the people.
I like your choices and for California Grill and Morimoto, I’m sure they will be fine. Those restaurants seem to have a lot of kids there. I’m taking mine to CG brunch and Morimoto for dinner. I have flying fish citricos Jaleo and Monsieur Paul on my list too!
