Sunday: Arrival day. No breakfast. Early dinner at San Angel
Monday: No breakfast. Early lunch at Flame Tree, late dinner at Boma.
Tuesday: Cosmic Ray's for Light lunch, LTT for late dinner
Wednesday: Le Cellier
Thurs: Hollywood and Vine vs. Brown Derby
Fri: CRT for Princess Breakfast, then (sigh) home.

Myself (foodie), DH (loves meat and potatoes), DSIL (meat/potatoes), DD (picky mostly vegetarian) and DGD age 2 who will eat ANYTHING.

I realize DGD will not be included on dining plan and will probably eat off our plates. What about buffets? I am trying to decide if we should do the dining plan. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

My family did not like Hollywood and Vine. I would suggest Derby. 2 year old eats for free so order her something she likes.

My only opinion is that Tusker House food is far superior to Flame Tree BBQ.
(rotisserie chicken!) I would even say that pizzafari is better that FTBBQ....

Just MHO. Tusker house is the best food at DAK by far. (I work at DAK)

If you really want good BBQ you have to get "off property". Choctaw Willies in Downtown Winter Garden, or find the closest SMokey Bones.

Hollywood and Vine is a buffet. Not bad we enjoyed it there. :Pinkbounc

We were really disappointed in Hollywood and Vine in June. We enjoyed our past meals there but the selection this time was fair, at best. My DS (15) could barely find anything to eat outside of the desserts. I ended up eating a LOT of salmon because I couldn't find much else that looked good. The salmon was good, but the variety at H&V has gone way down. We won't be returning until, and unless, they improve.

We've been to both and I would pick Brown Derby or H&V anyday. Also you dgd will be able to eat at the buffet for free (under 3).
