Our first visit there since they took the characters away. I have to say I don't know if it was the location of our table or the lack of characters in era garb, but it didn't have the same colonial feel as before.
So, we waited about 40 minutes past our reservation for a table. Time notwithstanding, two additional problems. First it was about 1,000 degrees in the lobby (OK I exaggerate it was more like 500 degrees) with very limited seating. Second, although I like the Disney touches (like calling every little girl princess), when they were doing the announcements for families, I could barely hear some of the servers.
The food was the same as it ever was. Only complaint was overdone/dried out turkey. The pork and beef were great. I love the Mac & Cheese.
So I miss the characters, but will definitely not hesitate to return there again.
