Revervation Changed

I have flight reservations with US Aiways and just logged in to check the status. The flight is not until December. When I clicked on the resevation number, instead of displaying the entire reservation, it said my flight has changed and shows me partial details. It also wants me to accept the changes, but I am a little hesitant. The flight only changed by 5 minutes each way and my seat selections are still showing, but there is no aircraft. My orginal reservation had an aircraft displayed for each leg. I did a search on the US Airways site and the flights are still available so I do not think they cancelled. The search results show the original aircraft in my confirmation email. I have not be contacted by US Airways either. Should I be concerned?

You should take a look at the US Airways site to see what flights might work for you. Then call US Airways and make sure your flights are all set up. DON'T WAIT FOR THE AIRLINE TO CONTACT YOU. It might never happen and you will have few options if you wait to take care of this at the airport.

I think the airline is only obligated to contact the passenger for approval if the flight time changes by more than 2 hours. Flights often change by 20 or 30 minutes......they don't contact you in those cases. I wouldn't be concerned merely because no type of airplane is shown on the website. As long as you have your confirmation code, you're all set.

Turned out not to be a big deal. They had a time and equipment change. Once I accepted the changes, the type of aircraft showed up in the reservation. All is well.

Once you book your airline tickets you should be checking your flights at least weekly. The sooner you see a change the sooner you can get it straightened out.
