Revert to bedwetting

Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions?

I am going to WDW with a coworker and her child. We have registered the kids for the Neverland Club one night. Not that I have anything to do but with the Pater Pan theme I really thought DGS (6) would love it. Yesterday we looked at pictures of it on the internet and talked about him and his friend going there. I also explained that Grandma would be right in the hotel reading a book in the lobby or walking around the beach. I asked him if wanted me to add those pictures to his Disney book (which he reads and looks at on the car trip) and he said no. He then wet the bed last night. I'm not sure if the bedwetting is related to this or just a freak accident. Should I pull him out now or send him and if he only stays five minutes--then so be it (I know I have to pay for two hours regardless but I'm ok with that).

What does he say about the whole thing? Has he said that he doesn't want to do it, and if so, has he given a reason? It might just be that he's a bit nervous about being away from you for so long, and a bit of a chat about it would help reassure him. You could always give them your cell phone number and tell him that you can be called to pick him up of he doesn't like it. That might settle his mind a little.

You could also offer to stay with him awhile in the Neverland Club or to stay with him until he feels comfortable being with the group ( or even tell him that you'd stay with him awhile and if he decides then that he isn't happy there that he doesn't have to stay). I would hope that the Club counsellors wouldn't charge you if he isn't able to stay. Perhaps you could call in advance and ask their policy? If you had time during the trip you might also visit the Club just to give him a visual. --Kathy

Thanks everyone--he was excited about it and he will have a "friend" with him. I'll just play it by ear--go in with him if he wants, show him the lobby where I'll be, and see what happens. I thought of taking him over during the day but they actually have activities for Poly guests going on...if he takes to the club he may not want to leave and come back "later" and I want to avoid that scene (we have enough of them using fastpass sometimes!!!!)
