In the past DH and I have used the child swap since youngest DD was too small to ride some rides. This year she is tall enough to ride but a surprise pregnancy will keep me from riding. Can we do a "reverse" child swap where Dad rides once with each kid? Or is there another way to handle this? TIA:D

Just go get a child swap pass, let dh ride with one child and then the next unless its a ride they can all get on together.

Congrats on your surpise pg!

Sounds like fun but I live a bit far. We live in Friendswood which is south of Houston.
We will be at Disney when you guys are there. Our dates are may 29-June 12. Hopefully the place wont be to crowded, its our first June trip. We are taking my niece and nephew that live in Frisco with us.

I don't see why you couldn't. Just check with each CM before you start the wait or get the FP. On our last trip the swap varied from attraction to attraction and even within the same attraction from day to day!

FWIW - I travel to WDW as the solo adult with my two dd's and we fit three in most rides fine. SpL MT, and BTMR we fit three fine, TT no problem as it seats 4 and mission space seats 4 to a pod, SM is three in a row. Now that I think about it RnRC may be the only ride where three could not sit together.

Oh, and you could always get 4 fast passes, dh could use your fp to ride 2x, once with each child.

Congrats - and have a great trip.

This will be our third trip during early June and so far the crowds have been very tolerable. The only time we encountered fairly large crowds were at MK on the days that Spectromagic and FITS were scheduled. We have always been able to see and do everything we want to. Try to see Fantasmic on one of the nights when there are two shows--we did this last year and it was great. Instead of waiting 2 hours you can just walk up and get great seats with no waiting!! Hope to see you there:wave:

Thanks! I wasn't sure about fitting three in the seats so that will be great. DD#2 has been talking about riding Splash and BTMRR and I am afraid she may chicken out if Mom can't ride with her but if they can all ride together she may go. I didn't think about the FP--great tip!!

Last year my youngest was too small to go on many of the rides. DH took two DDS ( 4 and 5) with him. They let little ones ride three in a seat at least on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain. Hope this helps. BTW congratulations - surprise pregnancies are always the best!

With a name containing Momx7 I am sure you have some experience with surprise pregnancies! We did fertility treatments with DD#2 and were thinking about maybe discussing another child when we received our surprise. I am 11 weeks pregnant but I have to say that I am still a little in shock....Thanks for the info and the well wishes:D

My first "shock" is 18 and getting ready to go away to college. I had planned the others so well. !!!! The biggest shock of all was that after I had four children (and quite content) I had cancer and underwent chemo and was told that I wouldn't have any more children which was fine by me. A year later (at age 39) I found out I was indeed pregnant! Then we had two more because there was 12 years between the 4th and 5th and we didn't want her to grow up alone. So I am a momx7 but I've done it in two shifts. Enjoy your surprise because it really does go by fast!
