Does anyone else agree with me? I've been to Universal 3 times in the last 13 months, and this is the ride that I love the most. It is not the scariest, or most technologically advanced, but I still love it the best. I was blown away by Forbidden Journey, but Mummy is still my favorite. Does anyone else agree? Or disagree? I am still trying to figure out why I love it the most.

I agree! Actually this ride is my favorite ride anywhere.

I'm not sure why I like it so much either but I always get off of it laughing like a nut. I'm smiling now just thinking about it!

Oh too funny!! Mummy is my all time favorite!! LOVED WWoHP and FJ, but still have to go with MUMMY!!

I sooooo agree! I can't figure out what it is that I love so much about it either. Loved Forbidden Journey, have been on better roller coasters, but as a whole there is nothing that makes me happier than Mummy - I still get nervous in the fire room.

I had ridden the ride probably 10-15 times not knowing that the first mummy had never worked properly - when he did come out I almost...well, no need to go into more detail...TMI....:rotfl2:

I have to disagree. Spiderman is my favorite. I liked FJ, but the two times I rode it, I was in the same far right seat (from the riding perspective). I've heard that the experience differs depending upon the seat, so I look forward to riding it again on the far left seat. Perhaps experiencing it from a new seat would bump it to the top for me.

And I do like The Mummy. It's definitely in my top five.

I agree! My DD13 and I love this ride! She loves roller coasters anyway, but there is just something about Mummy that's so fun!

We love riding with strangers that have never ridden it before and we laugh when they start SCREAMING when you go backwards for a sec.....like the whole coaster is going to go backwards! Then when you turn around and they start to realize they are about to get shot out.....THAT's THE BEST!:lmao:

I just wish the fake off load was done just a little better.... like have a TM there ready to help you out...

It's definitely one of my favorites.

Question: Does the animatronic mummy at the beginning have a "B mode"? When I rode it last year he didn't pop out of the sarcophagus and I thought I saw a face projected onto the lid.

Definately in the my top 5 as well. I loved FJ, DC, Spiderman, and for some reason even Doctor Dooms Fearfall but sometimes we all just need our Mummy.

Yes. Sometimes the sarcophogus doesn't open with the mummy popping out, and is replaced with a face being projected on to the lid.

It's definitely one of the best rides in all of Orlando, if not the country, if not the world. It's just so fun and my only gripe is that I wish it was longer!

Also, I've never done more re-rides on any attraction in my life than The Mummy.

I love the ride as well. It's not as intimidating as some of the outdoor coasters at Universal (Hulk, Dragon Challenge, Hollywood Rip Rockit), and it's my favorite of the Indoor coasters in Orlando, with Rock n' Roller at Hollywood Studios a very close second.

I won't go to Universal if I can't ride the mummy :thumbsup2

I agree! It's tough because I loved FJ too...

FJ broke down the first time I rode and it ruins part of the ride (like the Quiddatch simulation didn't work after the ride stopped.) I'm sure if the Mummy broke down it wouldn't ruin the ride. That goes for Spiderman too... I love it but if the ride stops then it gets ruined (one time the car stopped simulating.)

I have yet to ride FG,but I can do The MUMMY 10times a day and not get ever boring of it.

Rode Mummy for the first time last December (while waiting for HRRR to get back online - it never did), then rode it at least six more times. Never got boring. One of the best.

I love The Mummy! It's my favorite ride at Universal (since Back to the Future was shut down :guilty: ).

Forbidden Journey is my favorite ride at Islands. :thumbsup2
