Rev Jack Day

Sent in our form yesterday to have Rev. Jack Day officiate at our vow renewal next May. I have heard such good things about him and I can’t wait to finally meet him in person. For anyone looking for fees, his charge is $150 for intimate and $250 for custom.

I think we are in pretty good planning shape. I’ve picked the flowers, the cake, most of the music, the location, the officiant and scheduled the MK photo shoot. I’m also down to 2 choices for dinner after our renewal and I know how I want our little group to spend the rest of the evening. The only thing I don’t have yet is a dress. I have to soon start looking for dresses for my daughter and I. The boys are going to wear tuxes from Carolyn Allen’s and DH is going to bring his own tux and get the Mickey vest/tie from Carolyn’s. I originally wanted the black and white Mickey faces, but I think we will probably go with the plain white Mickey vest (or champagne depending on what kind of dress I get!). Oh, and I’m still debating on the video/photography. I’m leaning towards using Disney for photography just to save some money, but ………….I really want video too!!!

So, for being 6 months out, I think we’re in pretty good shape--oh, except for that whole money thing! That part I’m still budgeting!

Thats who I chose also. Now we are working on pieceing together a ceremony. They all look so good!!! I sent in my "yes" from him like at least 3 weeks ago, did he get back to you even after you signed and sent him the agreement back in the mail. I haven't heard back a little nervous. I want to make sure he ok with our date and time. I tried to snag him early!!

He is lovely, my husband was actually on the phone with him last night about our upcoming VR.

He is sweet and kind and manages to just have just the right balance of emotion and fun.

Rev. Jack is wonderful. He did a wonderful job with our ceremony. I highly recommend him.

As far as your photo/video decision, let me say that I’m so glad that I got a video as well as photos. They are both excellent reminders of our day. The video can capture voices, movement, more of what it was like to actually be there. Photos can’t do that, but still images can mean so much too. If at all possible, get both.

I am also having Rev. Day at our ceremoy and am so happy with everything I hear. I send our "yes" back to him and received a copy of it a while after. Does anyone know when he needs payment by?? The pink copy just said $200 and didn't say a due date or anything? Should I have sent it already or will he still hold my spot?

The form said that the fee was payable on the day of the ceremony.

We loved Rev. Day!!! He was so sweet and seems to really enjoy what he is doing. He was also wonderful about communicating with us before the wedding, so he sort of "knew" us before the wedding. I very much recommend him!!!

We just got married in an Intimate Ceremony on October 20th and Rev. Jack performed our ceremony. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him! He was just perfect and I highly recommend him! I was worried because we'd only communicated by e-mail and one phone call, but it was like he knew us our whole lives. My mom passed away this summer and it was very difficult to get through our wedding without her, and Rev. Jack said the most special prayer in her honor. He customized our ceremony to exactly how we wanted it and he'll let you choose which robes he wears. He even wore a tie in my wedding color! He is just the most sincere, caring, gracious man. You cannot go wrong with Rev. Jack Day!
