Hi guys!

Just wondering if anyone on here had Rev Jack Day for their ceremony? Any feedback?

I get the feeling he is very laid back as his emails are pretty vague, i am quite a control freak so i am panicking whether he has everything ready for us. I am guessing these Rev's do ceremonies 3 or 4 times a day so it is nothing to flap about for them

Getting close now so i am checking and double checking everything is ready to go!!

I had him and loved him. I really wasn't in contact with him much. In fact, I completely forgot to confirm until the week of! But he was so nice and he made it seem like he really knew us. I created my own ceremony and emailed it him and he read it perfectly! I would use him again in a heartbeat!

We used Rev. Jack for our vow renewal. We'd agreed on a customized version of his VR ceremony, which I sent to him well beforehand at his request. On the day of our VR, he did NOT use the ceremony I'd put a ton of time and thought into, instead reverting to his normal version. It was still lovely, but I was (and still am) extremely disappointed. He is a lovely man, but if you use him, I advise you to double and triple-check details with him beforehand.

We used Rev. Jack and everything worked out well. I didn't contact him too often, just to email the ceremony (customized using pieces of multiple ceremonies) and to initially set it up. I just checked and the last email I sent him was a month before the wedding (I never called him) so he was reliable. He was very friendly and performed the ceremony we sent him. If you're worried, I would just email/call him again closer to the date, and if you customize your ceremony, send him another copy just to confirm.

We have, too, sent him a customised version of vows. He acknowledged receipt of them but maybe it is worth sending them again just to make sure. I have since printed these vows and had them framed as a wedding present to my fiance so it would be a little embarassing if Rev Jack didnt even use them!Lol
