Santa lost his mind and brought my 7 year old a pair of pink converse type shoes from Justice. She's worn them to school a few times, however we live in Michigan, so not out to recess, as we've had snow on the ground since Christmas eve.
The eyelets at the bottom are star shaped. One got completly bent up, all five points are now facing upward. They have snagged and ruined the laces and made several scratches on the shoes where the sharp points have rubbed the canvas.
I am wondering if anyone has returned any similar items to this store. Their online policy talks about unworn, unwashed clothing but nothing about defective(?) Items. I have no idea how all points on eyelet were mangled. I can't press them down and i can't pull others up, i tried to see if a bored DD might have picked them up.
They were purchased on black Friday, given on Christmas...so she hasn't even worn them a month. Is it worth trying to return them? Should I call store or company and see or count my loses and NEVER buy shoes there again? Problem is DD loves them!
