Returning unused lotion to Target

I bought two bottles of a new kind of hand lotion at Target last week on sale. Unfortunately, I've had an allergic reaction to something in the lotion & can't use it. Can I return the unused second bottle even if I don't have a receipt?

If you paid with debit or credit they will look up your receipt for you. If you paid with cash, I'm sure they will probably still accept the return but may give you store credit.
