I know I must be the only one because everyone seems to love them..But, I did some heavy thinking this weekend and decided to ship it back today. I like how light it was and all the compartments insidem but I don't like how you can only wear as a messenger back. Plus, I don't want all the pictures to focus on the black strap stuck in between by big chest :)

Anyway, off to find another bag. Possibly a lightweight backpack of some sort.

Last year for our first trip I bought & returned this bag, for the same reasons as you, expecially the "strap between by big chest". I really didn't see why so many people just loved this bag.

I ended up buying a regular nike backpack. It was big enough and has lot of pockets, but I really didn't like it either. too big it think. anyway still looking for that perfect bag for our next trip.

I've been using my baggallini as a regular purse to see what I think of it before I try to use it at the world. I'm not entirely sure I'm going to be using it at WDW now. While it's fine for day use, I've noticed that if i put a fair amount of stuff in the bag (read: over a pound), it starts to weigh down on my right shoulder (I've bruised my collar bone back in high school and ever since then, that shoulder has been a bit 'moody'). Instead, I'm looking to get some kind of mini backpack if I don't just reuse the one I already have.

Have you tried a healthy back bag? They are made by Ameribag and available online or lots of places. I have used one for years since I tend to put everything in my purse and then hurt my shoulder slinging it around. They come in several sizes and colors, and fit over your shoulder. I just ordered a new one for my early May trip. I have used the medium and the small, and they have lots of inside and outside compartments. I have a small back pack from Wal-mart that I bought for our last trip that worked well also.

I recently just returned mine too, for the same reason. I went with bag instead. http://www.rei.com/online/store/Pro...=BLACK/DAISY&img=/media/627082.jpg&view=large I love it!

I love my baggalini but I don't wear it across my chest. I use it as a shoulder bag, I let the strap out as far as it can go and when I have water, camera etc, it seems to hang just right. I don't know if it looks stupid like that but really I don't care. It doesn't hurt my shoulder or back at all... I love it so much I have 3 different colors.

I'm planning on wearing mine the same way. I'm just going to fling it over one shoulder when I'm in the park because most of the time I'm going to hang it off the stroller anyway.

I just got my baggallini a week ago. Silly me cut off and threw away the tags and packaging before I really played with it. I love the design and the pockets and it is the perfect size. However I can't stand the strap being across my chest. So now that I can't return it I think I will just use it as a shoulder bag, thanks for the suggestion. Besides if DH doesn't see me use the 35$$ bag I just had to have:rotfl: He will probably kill me.

I bought mine a month or so ago in preparation for our July Disney trip. Today, I loaded it up with ponchos, water bottles, camera, etc. and I'm going to have to send it back (or sell it on ebay, 'cause I think I threw all the tags, packaging away).:worried: I don't like the way it hangs across my chest (I am very average in that area). It didn't bother me until I loaded it up and now it doesn't hang quite right and doesn't feel comfortable at all. I'm so bummed because I wanted to love it! I guess I'll keep searching.

I was set on buying the Baggalini. I did so much research and reading about all the different styles. Then I switched to getting the Travelon Bag. Then I saw the Overland Donner...I went back and forth and back and forth.

Finally decided on the Overland Donner. Then I couldn't decide on the color  They were making fun of me at work because they said they have never seen me so indecisive. FINALLY I ordered the Chocolate color. I figured my Hubby would hold it for me that way and I wouldn't have to worry about clashing.

Good luck in finding a bag......check out the Overland website. The Donner holds two bottles in the side pockets and looks just perfect for me. I can't wait until it gets here.:hyper:

I was thinking about getting one........ now I think that I will just go with a backpack. Good thing I read this, now I know that I wouldn't have been the only one not liking how the bag hangs.

I was the same exact way, INDECISIVE! But boy did we make the right choice. I got the black overland donner with the daisy lining from REI. Wait till it arrives I think you too are going to LOVE IT!!!! I have been showing it to everyone. Even DH said what a much nicer bag it is than the baggalini. Color choice was a pain staking experience for me too, my other choice was the red. I am now using mine as an everyday bag reason I opted for the black. I think you are going to love the chocolate. Congrats on a wise purchased follow Overlander!:cool1:

While I love the look of the Overland Donner especially the bottle pocekts, it looks big and bulky. Can anyone tell me if its a light bag when loaded up?

You guys are scaring me! My bag is supposed to come today, I am so scared I won't like it now. I am not really well endowed so hopefully It won't be a problem.

And sent it to another DIS-er who wanted it, for free!:thumbsup2 I was sooo glad they took it off my hands, its very uncomfortable for me, and I hated it!:crazy2: Maybe we should start a Baggalini Exchange!:thumbsup2

Not to highjack the thread, but I'm trying to find more information about the Overland Donner?

My twins are now potty trained, so I won't be bringing a diaper bag on our next trip (WHOO HOOO!). Will the Overland Donner hold a camera, sunscreen, two bottles of water, and a few snacks easily? I had the Baggalini, but my mother stole it since it fits her camcorder so well!

Thanks for any advice!
